Clinton minions were out in force last evening on Twitter, mustering support for their candidate and doing their best to tarnish rival Donald Trump. We expected low blows, but none rival former governor Howard Dean's assertion that Donald Trump is a cocaine user and snorted the drug prior to the debate:
Reaction on Twitter has been mixed, with Clinton supporters defending Dean's alleged "humor" and others characterizing the comment as an example of what Michelle Obama said we shouldn't do -- and that is "going low."
None were more accurate in their criticism, however, than White House corresponded Kevin Corke, who said Dean's comment was unbecoming a governor and former chairman of the Democratic National Committee:
