Actual Pocahontas Descendent Not Offended by Trump's Reference to Warren

In a September interview with Sky News, Debbie “White Dove” Porreco said that President Donald Trump once asked her if it offended her that he used the name “Pocahontas” to refer to the Democrat senator Elizabeth Warren, poking fun at Warren's claim that she has Native American heritage (after all, just look at her high cheekbones!).
The Daily Caller reports that Porreco said, “I know that [Trump] uses ‘Pocahontas’ sometimes with Elizabeth Warren. He said, ‘Well, does that offend you when I use that?’ And I told him no, it doesn’t offend me.”
On the contrary, “If Pocahontas were alive today, she would be very proud of President Trump,” Porreco said. “Just like Pocahontas was a heroine, Donald Trump is going to be our hero.”
That's not what the news media wants to hear. The media activists posing as journalists, along "Fauxcahontas" Warren, who continues to pretend that she has Native American ancestry, are insisting that Trump’s use of Pocahontas is somehow a racial slur and a "dog whistle" coded message to white nationalists. They're intentionally ignoring the fact that the real racism is Warren's, because as a white woman she is appropriating a minority heritage that she has not proven, as a career boost.
Sky News contrasted Porreco’s comments with those of actress Irene Bedard, who lent her voice to the role of Pocahontas in the animated Disney movie.
“Do I think Pocahontas would be a fan of Trump? Oh no,” Bedard said. “Misogyny and bullying and name-calling at its finest. It is not intelligent discourse.”
Sky News didn't bother to explain why a voiceover artist would have any legitimate insight into the real Pocahontas' attitudes toward misogyny, bullying, and name-calling, just because she played the celebrated daughter of a tribal chieftain in a movie over 20 years ago.
