The Islamic jihadi vs. Jolly Old Saint Nick. There it is in a nutshell: the clash of civilizations, two vastly different views of the world, two polar opposites as value systems. One celebrates death, destruction, bloodshed and cruelty. The other celebrates life and joy. Gleeful savagery vs. generosity and kindness.
But remember: if you stand up and say that there is a clash, and that the civilization of life and joy should be defended, you’re a greasy Islamophobe, excoriated by all right-thinking people. The enemy within the free world is more lethal than the enemy outside.
