Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts
Iranian elementary school superintendent cuts girl’s hair that stuck out of her hijab: “she could have roused him”
The superintendent of an elementary school in Abadan, southwestern Iran, reportedly cut a girl’s hair for not properly covering it.
All because “she could have roused him” with a piece of her hair showing from under the hijab.
This girl is in elementary school. The idea that she could “rouse” an adult male, and that prepubescent girls are sexualized and must cover themselves to keep men from being tempted, ought to be repugnant to everyone. Yet many Westerners promote the hijab as “modesty” — for example, Hoda Katebi wrote in Glamour Magazine that “when you wear a turtleneck, you’re elegant; when I wear one I’m oppressed.”
In defence of the hijab, Katebi tweeted out following a Jihad Watch coverage of her deceitful article…..
I wrote a piece for @glamourmag on double standards of “modest dressing” for Muslims & white women (ty @halie_lesavage!) & of course, the raging anti-muslim bigots only prove my point further. Here’s the piece, which clearly makes racist men uncomfortable: https://www.glamour.com/story/hoda-katebi-modest-fashion-double-standard …
The only problem is that I wrote the Jihad Watch critique of her piece. I am a visible minority woman, yet apparently assuming that Robert Spencer was the author of the piece, Katebi accused him of being “racist” and “bigoted.” He replied in a tweet:
How embarrassed @hodakatebi will be, or should be, when she learns that the Jihad Watch piece wasn’t written by a racist man, but by a woman of color, @christi237. Of course Hoda’s claim that opposing jihad terror & Sharia oppression of women is “racist” is ridiculous on its face
It is commonplace but absurd to refer to those who oppose Islamic supremacism, jihad and sharia oppression as racist.
Now back to the poor girl in Iran who had some of her chair chopped off because it was sticking out of her hijab. The youngster suffered an asthma attack and was taken to hospital.
Katebi and others who peddle victimology and lies ignore the real victims, such as this girl. They would likely consider this report about the hijab as an oppressive garment to be “racist.” They prefer to ignore the truth of how the hijab oppresses women:
- An Iranian woman who removed her headscarf was jailed for two years in Iran;
- Iran’s paramilitary arm, the Basij, “promised to butcher” journalist Masih Alinejad, who made news worldwide for fighting the compulsory hijab during protests to free Iranian women;
- Another woman was assaulted by Iran’s morality police for not “wearing her hijab properly”;
From death threats and arrests in Saudi Arabia and Maldives to murder in Somalia — and that of Aqsa Parvez in Canada — multitudes of Muslim women face punishment all over the world for not wearing the hijab. They have no choice but to wear it. This force is widespread, yet denied by many Muslim women in the West.
As another Muslim woman wrote in Canada’s National Post: “On Women’s Day, drop the doublethink on hijabs (especially you, cosmetic companies).” Good advice for Glamour magazine, which is aiding in the subjugation of women through propaganda.
“Iranian superintendent forcibly cut schoolgirl’s hair that stuck out of her hijab”, Al Arabiya, May 13, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
The superintendent of an elementary school in Abadan, southwestern Iran, reportedly cut a girl’s hair for not properly covering it.The incident took place on May 6, according to the National Council of Resistance of Iran’s women’s committee, at an all-girls elementary school in Abadan’s Golestanshahr district.The superintendent used scissors and cut the girl’s hair because it had stuck out of her hijab.The girl, identified only as Narges, then suffered from an asthma attack because of the incident and was taken to hospital.In response to objections to such offending measure, the superintendent said, “The schoolmaster is a man and her hair sticking out could have roused him.”….
