Justin Amash says Barr misrepresented Mueller report

May 29, 2019 by Jerry McCormick

Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) has gotten a taste of the limelight and he has very much found it to its liking.
After being a fly on the wall for the better part of the last decade, Awash has turned his attention from Donald Trump to William Barr, accusing the Attorney General of purposely misrepresenting the Mueller report.

No Longer Silent

Justin Amash has been the Republican representative for the 3rd District of Michigan since 2011. If you had never heard his name before the last week or so, you are not alone.
He rarely speaks up in committee meetings and rarely seems to engage in any part of the conversation. The Mueller report changed all that.

After reading the report, Amash was so outraged he felt the need to speak up and begin his own personal crusade against President Trump.
Now, he is attacking William Barr, stating, “Barr has so far successfully used his potion to sell the president’s false narrative to the American people. This will continue if those who have read the report do not start pushing back on his misrepresentations to share the truth.”

No Longer a Republican

Even though Amash is nominally a member of the GOP, few of his fellow Republicans consider him to be a conservative. He sailed into office on the Tea Party wave that has since drifted out to sea.
Today, he sounds more Democrat than some of the more moderate Democrats in the party. According to his fellow members of Congress, he votes far more often with the Dems than he does with Republicans.

There has been much speculation as to the reason for Amash’s sudden outburst. Is he considering changing over to the Democrat party? Is he planning on running for President or some other office?
Whatever his motivation is, he’s getting a lot of free publicity right now. The Democrat party has embraced him for his anti-Trump tirades.
    and sign her impeachment papers.
While we don’t know what Amash has up his sleeve, we do know he has all but sealed his fate in the GOP.
