Welcome to 2024!The year that essential prophecies of our Lord approach our doorstep. As the year 2024 unfolds, the world is in turmoil. Wars, famines, plagues, and natural disasters plagued the nations. Many people wondered if these are the signs of the End Times, as foretold by the Biblical prophets. Some are listening, watching, and studying the Word of God to ready themselves for the adventures of Christ in 2024. Others dismissed authentic Biblical prophecies as false and delusional and continued to live in sin and rebellion. But a faithful remnant of indwelt believers remained steadfast in their hope and trust in God, knowing that He will fulfill His promises and bring His kingdom to earth. As for this “old prophet,” I welcome every brewing storm of the End Times. According to Jazweeh.com, a website that focuses on biblical prophecy, April 8th, 2024, is predicted to be the date of the return of Jesus. This prediction is based on the writings of Nostradamus, who predicted that Jesus would return “like a Lion” on this date. While this prediction is not widely accepted, it is an interesting interpretation of biblical prophecy. Another website, Bible News Prophecy Radio, discusses the possibility of the Great Tribulation beginning in 2024. They also explore the possibility of Jesus returning in 2024 and discuss various heavenly signs that may occur before or after the tribulation. THE PROBLEMNostradamus was drawn to the occult and mysticism and was deeply interested in Jewish wisdom and alchemy. He was taught the rudiments of Latin, Greek, Hebrew, and mathematics by his grandfather, who also introduced him to the ancient rites of Jewish tradition and the teachings of astrology. Nostradamus cast himself as a spiritual man who had the power to predict future events, which brought him to the attention of those who wanted to believe that they could change and shape their own futures. How is it that Nostradamus’s predictions hold sorted results of accuracy? Allow me to share with you an answer given to me by a Satanist. Years ago, before his death, Anton LaVey granted me an extensive interview. Anton was an American author, musician, and Satanist who founded the Church of Satan and the religion of Satanism. He authored several books, including The Satanic Bible, The Satanic Rituals, The Satanic Witch, The Devil’s Notebook, and Satan Speaks! He was born Howard Stanton LaVey on April 11, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, and died on October 29, 1997, in San Francisco, California. LaVey was known for his interest in the occult and mysticism and his deep interest in, like Nostradamus, Jewish wisdom, and alchemy. LaVey was labeled many things by journalists, religious detractors, and Satanists alike, including “The Father of Satanism,” the “St. Paul of Satanism,” “The Black Pope,” and the “evilest man in the world,” which was a title I often referenced him as. One of my questions asked of him was, “How is it that demonic predictions often come true for the Satanists?” I was surprised by his honesty! He detailed to me the madness method of Satanic prophecies. He started out by telling me that a demon plants a foretelling idea into the minds of humans through a witch, fortune teller, sorcerer, or priest. He explained how demonic spirits work in the present to manipulate events, humans, and religious idealists to bring the foretelling into the present, thus fulfilling the “prophecy.” My reply was in the form of a question. “So, Satanists cannot actually see into the future?” To which he replied, “No.” Nostradamus would fall under the category of a fortune teller. He was the Anton LaVey of his time. A little-known fact. Out of all the predictions Anton made throughout his mystic career, most of his projections are being lived out today, which is true for Nostradamus. So, what’s going on here?
Sorcerers act like prophets. Sorcerers manipulate events to appear to be owners of fulfilled prophecies. However, Biblical authentic prophets proclaim future events foretold by the Living God. The first acts as the owner of the prediction. The second is a representative of the OWNER of the past, present, and future – the Hebrew God of the universe and beyond. As Anton admitted, demonic beings have no ability to see into the future. God Himself reserves that right for His Holy Throne. No prophet of the Old or New Testament has/had the ability to look into the future. Each of the chosen prophets in the Bible simply passed on future events told to them by the Lord. Nothing more, nothing less. So, anyone who attaches dates, times, and events to prophetic predictions is practicing idolatry. It is no secret that I have been given the gift of prophecy. What does that mean? Prophecy is a reception and declaration of a Word from the Lord through the direct prompting of the Holy Spirit and the human instrument He uses. The person with this gift has a special ability to clearly understand past, present & future prophecies already stated in the Holy Scriptures. True prophecy builds up and edifies. It builds up because God is always building up the Body of Christ. This person may bring encouragement to the church using strong words. ( 1 Corinthians 14:3) This person is used by God to bring rebukes to Body members, as well as the church as a whole (1 Corinthians 1:9-10). The person who is blessed with this gift oftentimes functions under the direct revelations of God (1 Corinthians 14:29-31). Prophets shed new light on the fullness of our salvation and existing prophecies. This person will have the tendency to “preach to the nations.” Prophets build up because they are an overt picture of what a believer represents (1 Corinthians 14:22-25). Prophets oftentimes reveal whether God is present in an assembly, thereby confirming the believer in his faith and even causing the unbeliever to confess God’s Presence (v24). Prophets also build up because they lay bare the secrets of the heart (1 Corinthians 14:22-25). Therefore, they intimidate many Body members. Prophets are usually loved or “hated” due to this. Prophets normally prevent people from hiding behind masks or pretending to be righteous when they are not. Where prophets are, honesty and integrity are indispensable (Ananias and Sapphira- Acts 5). Essentials of Prophets & Prophecies:To the present day, no single authentic Biblical prophecy concerning the Old Testament prophecies has been left unfulfilled in its projected time stamp (2 Peter 1:21). Not one! Prophecy has two sides to its coin: to release God’s foretelling events of the future and to explain the existence of those events in the present age. God’s foretelling is drastically different from the demonic manipulation of modern events. God’s revelation of future events speaks forth the existence of the Lord’s ability to see the past, present, and future at one given time. The purpose? For the of building up the Body of Christ and to encourage, console, and warn (1 Corinthians 14:3). However, as in Paul’s record to the Thessalonians – the future destiny of their deceased loved ones, he says, “Therefore encourage one another with these words” (1 Thess. 4:18). He went on to say, “Therefore… build one another up just as you are doing” (1 Thess. 5:11). Prophecies are NOT meant to scare people; they are for edification. Prophets or prophecies are never simply to satisfy the curious minds of authentic believers or the interested onlookers of depraved minds. The intent of a real prophet is to motivate indwelt believers to a Godly and Holy lifestyle IN the present by building up God’s people, exhorting them to stay committed to Jesus and the Holy Word, and comforting those who are suffering from doubt, confusion, and disbelief. Debunking 2024 ProjectionsAuthentic prophets are wise enough to know that one should never put times and dates to the Lord’s foretelling! Anytime you hear or read of a teacher doing such ridiculous practices, avoid them like a plague. However, when you hear a real-deal prophet hammer on the nails of these four projections, pay close attention:
While 2024 will bring upon us the birth pangs of the coming Antichrist and his system of destruction, know this: the brainchild he births will be a monster that will be cloaked in fake peace, prosperity, and providence. In the end, he hopes to take the hand of every resistor to the pit of Hell forever – with gnashing of teeth, unextinguished fire, and a loneliness that will find no relief for all who join him. I will leave you with the words of Paul:Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21) Those are some words of a true prophet. Instead of searching out the signs and wonders of the End Times, consider Paul’s warning. The best New Year’s Resolution should be to get your life in line with the indwelling Life of Jesus. If you resist this admonition, you might be one of those trying to enter that narrow way too late. That, my friend, would break the heart of a loving God who spent 6,000 years offering evil-doers eternal life. Thanks for subscribing to The End Times Chronicles.
