TUESDAY, APRIL 23 RFK JR. UNVEILS ABORTION POLICY  Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. just released a new policy platform on abortion titled, “More Choices, More Life.” Kennedy’s campaign claims that his proposed abortion policy “will dramatically reduce abortion in this country, and it will do so by offering more choices for women and families, not less.” CatholicVote President Brian Burch stated, “While RFK Jr. is wrong for pledging to continue to protect the ‘right’ to destroy innocent lives, he deserves credit for not ducking the need to help women choose life.” READ MIGRANT CRIME ABOUNDS IN NYC   A Home Depot store in a New York City suburb reportedly hired guards equipped with bulletproof vests and a German Shepherd to ward off surging migrant crime. The story broke the same weekend a youth soccer game was canceled at a nearby park in East Harlem after dozens of migrants stormed the field. New York Police Department (NYPD) officers were called to the scene, yet even after this, the migrants still refused to leave.  READ MAINE JOINS BLUE STATE PUSH TO DITCH THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE  Democratic Maine Governor Janet Mills Monday last week okayed a bill to align her state with the likes of New York and California in a campaign to undermine the U.S. Electoral College. If enough additional states join the effort, it will go into effect, completely transforming the way the country selects its president every four years. The effort Maine just joined seeks to eliminate the Electoral College without an act of Congress or Constitutional amendment.  READ ILHAN OMAR’S DAUGHTER BANNED FROM BARNARD FACILITIES  Barnard College reportedly suspended the adult daughter of controversial far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-MN, following the student’s participation in a massive pro-Palestine protest at Columbia University, where Jewish students were threatened with violence. Isra Hirsi, 21, claims that the school banned her from her dorm and its dining hall. Barnard is an elite and prestigious women’s college partnered with adjacent Columbia.  READ USCCB DENOUNCES BIDEN RULE FORCING ABORTION AGENDA ON EMPLOYERS  The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has denounced a new Biden administration rule for violating religious freedom and forcing all employers to provide accommodations for employees to have abortions. Bishop Kevin Rhoades of Fort Wayne-South Bend, chairman of the USCCB’s Committee for Religious Liberty, said that “no employer should be forced to participate in an employee’s decision to end the life of their child.”  READ CARDINAL NEWMAN SOCIETY REVIEWS CATHOLIC COLLEGE COMMENCEMENT SPEAKERS As graduation season is fast approaching, the Cardinal Newman Society reviewed over a dozen speakers set to give commencement addresses at Catholic colleges and universities. “The distinctly faithful Catholic colleges recognized … in The Newman Guide have chosen outstanding speakers,” the society wrote. “On the other hand, some Catholic colleges continue to reveal their confusion and weak commitment to the authentic mission of Catholic education by choosing commencement speakers who oppose Catholic moral teaching.” READ BISHOP WHO CALLED BIDEN ‘STUPID’ APOLOGIZES  Bishop Robert Gruss of Saginaw, MI, this weekend said that his previous comment calling President Joe Biden “stupid” was in “poor judgment” and encouraged people to view the original presentation to understand the context of his comment.
