19 of Them Arrested!

On Tuesday, 19 suspected Venezuelan illegal alien gang members were arrested by the Aurora Police Department following a Monday night incident at an apartment complex.

During a press conference late Monday evening, police revealed that more than a dozen armed illegal alien gang members had attacked a man and woman at the Edge At Lowry Apartments, forcing them into a different apartment at gunpoint. These gang members reportedly forced the victims into the apartment, tied them up, pistol-whipped them, beat them, and stabbed them. The victims were ultimately released after they promised not to contact law enforcement, but immediately contacted the police after being released.

This particular apartment complex has made headlines in recent months because of prevalent gang activity from the violent Venezuelan street gang Tren de Aragua — with numerous reports emerging of the gang taking over apartment complexes in several states and committing crimes against residents.

In the press conference, Aurora Police Department Chief Todd Chamberlain explained that the detained criminals were all Venezuelan and they appeared to be illegal aliens.

The police chief further explained that 14 of the illegal aliens involved in the attack had been found in one apartment early on Tuesday morning, while another five illegals were detained later that day.

As police are still investigating the incident, none of the illegal aliens have been charged with a crime yet as of Tuesday evening.

“I am utilizing any resource that I can to verify who these individuals are, who these suspects are, what their involvement is with this crime and what their identities are,” Chamberlain explained. “I am presently using the Department of Homeland Security, I am using HSI, and I am also using ICE to help identify who these suspects are and what actions they are involved in.”

CBZ Management, which owns and manages the apartment complex, has repeatedly called out Democrat politicians for causing the ongoing illegal alien gang activity at their property — begging law enforcement to intervene and arrest the criminal illegals.

Chamberlain also noted during the press conference that he was 100% certain that the attack was gang-related, suggesting that Tren de Aragua was responsible but did not make any definitive statements about the identity of the violent gang.

“What I will say based on the actions that I saw, based on how the event unfolded, this is 100% gang activity,” the police chief said.
