Court Allows Biden To Give Obamacare To Illegals

A federal appeals court has shockingly ruled to allow the Biden administration to give illegal aliens taxpayer-funded Obamacare as long as they qualify for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, meaning that they were children when their parents illegally brought them into the country.

In May, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris announced a “final rule” that would allow DACA illegal aliens to use taxpayer-funded Obamacare — effectively rewarding them for breaking the law and punishing taxpayers for following it. The DACA program was created by former President Barack Obama with an executive order, which has shielded thousands of illegal aliens from deportation over the years.

District Judge Daniel Traynor issued a preliminary injunction against the Biden administration’s efforts to give Obamacare to DACA illegal aliens earlier this month, but the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit has granted a stay to the order — ruling in favor of an appeal from the administration.

“Appellant’s request for a temporary administrative stay of the district court’s December 9, 2024 order, pending this court’s consideration of Appellant’s motion to stay the district court’s order pending appeal, is granted,” the federal appeals court ruled. “Appellees are directed to file any response(s) to Appellant’s motion for stay pending appeal by December 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. Any reply from Appellant is due by 12:00 p.m. Central Time on December 19, 2024.”

Thanks to this shocking ruling, DACA illegal aliens will be able to continue taking advantage of taxpayers by signing up for Obamacare in all states, including the 18 states that had filed the initial lawsuit against the Biden administration to stop the plan — Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Kansas was the first to file the lawsuit, while the rest of the states joined soon after.

According to Breitbart News, “Prior cost estimates have suggested that, should about 100,000 DACA illegal aliens enroll in Obamacare, it would cost American taxpayers about $300 million annually. Other estimates have put the annual financial burden at about $2.8 billion.”
