Not everyone sniggered or gagged when Newsweek's Evan Thomas proclaimed that our conspicuously underqualified Community Activist in Chief "is sort of God." Comrade Obama himself seems to take the idea quite seriously:
President Barack Obama needs some outside help pushing health care reform, and he's turning to rabbis to get it. In a morning conference call with about 1000 rabbis from across the nation, Obama asked for aid: "I am going to need your help in accomplishing necessary reform," the President told the group, according to Rabbi Jack Moline, who tweeted his way through the phoner. "We are God's partners in matters of life and death," Obama went on to say, according to Moline's real-time stream.
To think that only a year ago, answering whether a baby is a human being was above his pay grade.
Appropriately, considering the Naziesque aspects of ObamaCare,
Eyebrows were also raised by the choice of hold music that played to rabbis before the call began. "First mistake," Moline tweeted, as he waited for the call to begin. "Music on hold is 'Deutschland uber Alles,' " a classical German anthem, the lyrics to which in part say, "Preserve and protect our Kaiser, our land."
You have to wonder just what it would take to shake Jewish support for the Chicago Machine's megalomaniacal, Hamas-endorsed answer to Adolf Schicklgruber.

The Bama should have gotten his allies/mentors such as Rev Sharpton, "Hymietown" Jesse Jackson, Farfukcan and Jerimiah Wright all in on that teleconference with the Rabbi's.... Why would they even be listening to his crap?

The irony is that Obama can use the support of Jews now; but can never seem to bring himself to support Israel. And yet the Jewish community still (s)elected Obama.

Good point, though remember that the Holy Roman Empire felt most of the early crusades were a bit too far away for their blood, so they'd just kill a bunch of Jews in modern-day Germany/Poland/Czech Rep. before invading Lithuania. Europe has a long history of anti-Semitism; Germany has a long history of just plain killing Jews.

What an incredibly arrogant and absurd statement. Dear Leader may think he's God's partner, but he's even not worthy to tie God's sandal strap. In any event, Dear Leader hubris telegraphs (or teleprompts, in his case) the crux of the moral issue in this -- whether Obama's death panels should replace God's, your's and your own doctor's discretions.

The president asks for help from rabbis to sell his government plan by talking about it with their respective followers.
Another president talks about his personal relationship with God and how it effects his political life.
Which one is truly violating the "Separation between Church and State"?
If any of those rabbis think it is a good idea to help out the president they should reread Proverbs chapter 1.
