Jerusalem Inspiration

In his philosophical work, Ecclesiastes, King Solomon laments over the seeming futility of life.  He remarks that history reveals that nothing changes, and man's follies and the catastrophes of old are doomed to be repeated until the end of time. Hence, the infamous refrain, "there is nothing new under the sun."  Despite Solomon's remarks, daily, we report the 'news', and man eagerly awaits the changes that come with new world orders and circumstances.  While we look at history and wonder how things have evolved, Breaking Israel News offers twice daily insight into world events that reflect an intimate and deep understanding of world events, how they effect Israel, and how they exhibit change or stasis in reflection of the holy land's past, present and future.

What the Temple in Jerusalem and Ancient Japan Have in Common

Shockingly, there are many signs of Jewish rituals in ancient Japanese ceremonies! Is this just coincidence? Could there have been some mysterious connection between the Nation of Israel and Japan during the time of the first temple?

We All Stem From Israel!

Ancient teeth found in a cave near Rosh Ha’ayin in Israel may demonstrate that humanity developed first, not in Africa, but in the Middle East; and, that ancient man was vegetarian!

Jerusalem Daily Photo

Boruch Len's breathtaking photo of star trails over British Park in central Israel. This gorgeous setting extends over some 40,000 dunam (approx 10,000 acres) of the Judean plain, including a JNF planted forest, natural woodland, archaeological sites, and of course, great spots for stargazing!
