Jerusalem Inspiration

King Solomon offers insight into the value of memory.  Positive memories provide joy, while those of misery we should work to replace.  As summer is upon us, many of us have positive memories of long, relaxing and carefree summer days. Unfortunately for children from impoverished homes, the summer days are a breeding ground for trouble.  In steps 'Meir Panim' with a host of subsidized, quality summer programs; if not for these camps, many children would spend their days on the street.  The guiding principle of the Meir Panim summer camps is to enable children to return to school with a smile and a store of experiences to remember, just like the children from more comfortable homes.
