THE QUESTION MUST NOW BE ASKED-"WHO IS TRULY THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST: THE POPE, OR JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF?"-
And of course, every true Bible-Believing Christian knows the answer to this. Jesus Christ is the head of His Church worldwide. And because He is the Messiah to the Jews and the Son of God, His eternal words stands FOREVER and cannot be changed to suit the fleeting fancies of mere mortal man.
"HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY, BUT MY WORDS SHALL NEVER PASS AWAY."~Jesus the Christ, Messiah and Son of God, and Head of His CHURCH of the living God
The words of Jesus shall stand forever, when He told the Jews, "You will DIE IN YOUR SINS if you DO NOT BELIEVE THAT I AM HE (the Messiah.)"
When the angel GABRIEL announced to Mary that she would have a Son concieved by the Holy Spirit, Gabriel said that she was to call Him "Yahshua/Joshua" ("God saves" in Hebrew)..."FOR HE SHALL SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS."
This decree from Heaven clearly indicates from the beginning that the Jews are also sinners separated from God, and are NOT saved from their sins apart from repenting and believing in Jesus their Messiah, (nor is anyone else saved apart from Him.)
Throughout His ministry, Jesus repeatedly called the Jews to repent and believe in Him and His words. When Nicodemus came to Him one night to ask many questions, Jesus spoke the following words:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, so that whosoever BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH, but have everlasting life. He that believes is not condemned, BUT HE THAT BELIEVES NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, BECAUSE HE HAS NOT BELIEVED IN THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD."~Words of Jesus from John 3:16
Jesus, head of His church, sent forth His disciples to tell the Jews the GOOD NEWS that Messiah had come, and to repent and receive their long prophesied Messiah at last.
And before Jesus' ascension into Heaven, He commanded His disciples to "GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERY CREATURE. HE THAT BELIEVES SHALL BE SAVED,BUT HE THAT DOES NOT BELIEVE SHALL BE DAMNED."
But now, in this new decree of the Pope, Francis states that Jews are not to be witnessed to, nor should Christians try to bring the message of Salvation through Jesus Christ to them! He teaches the clear heresy that "Jews are under a different covenant than other people and that they do not need Jesus for salvation. " This amounts to soul-damning blasphemy and heresy.
WHO SHOULD CHRISTIANS WORLDWIDE BELIEVE REGARDING THESE STATEMENTS: Jesus Christ the Son of God and Head of His Church worldwide? Or the words of a mere mortal man who dares to contradict the eternal testimony of Jesus Christ and His words on this important subject???
