BleachBit Capitalizes on Hillary Quote, Sells 'Cloth or Something'

We're not sure this reinforces a trustworthy image for Clinton.

One company is capitalizing on Hillary Clinton's poor sense of humor and flip attitude concerning her mishandling of classified information.
BleachBit, the data-deleting program we now know the Clinton camp used to erase emails emanating from Hillary Clinton's private server emails is using Clinton's own words in its new marketing campaign and product.
During a press conference in August, Fox News' Ed Henry asked the former Secretary of State if she'd wiped her private email server clean of its emails.
To which she played coy and replied, "what, like with a cloth or something?" Fox reports
That “cloth” turned out to be BleachBit -- a powerful software tool that includes the ability to “shred files to hide their contents and prevent data recovery,” according to BleachBit's website. Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., who revealed the Clinton team’s use of the software in August this year, said it deleted files so completely that “even God can’t read them” -- a quote Bleachbit now proudly uses as an endorsement.
Well, now "Cloth or Something" is being marketing by BleachBit. It is an actual cloth, bearing Clinton's face and her absurd quote:
“After you have smashed your BlackBerry, don't forget to wipe the fingerprints from your email server with this non-abrasive, soft microfiber Cloth or Something,” the site says. “Don't wait for a subpoena: order now!”
Bleachbit founder Andrew Ziem told Fox News that since FBI Director James Comey's announcement about reopening investigation into Hillary Clinton, "sales went through the roof."
"I panicked as I saw them selling out so fast because I do not like back orders, and I don't know how I am going to sign them all,” Ziem said in reference to the fact that he will personally sign each of the cloths, priced between $3 and $5.
According to the report, they are currently on back order until November 14.
While this may seem like just a tongue-in-cheek marketing move, it is actually quite telling that sales for the product have skyrocketed. It means the marketing campaign is reaching the public in no small way and that this chapter in Hillary Clinton's life has now entered into the popular culture.
Humor is often one of the most effective tools in undercutting a person and BleachBit played this well. While drumming up business for its data-deleting software, the company has also managed to remind voters of just how corrupt Clinton is.
