More Desperation: Obama Pleads for Black Voter Turnout
He’s sweating because more blacks have seen the light about the Democratic Party.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and as the lead between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump shrinks, Democrats are pulling out all the stops to secure more votes especially among minorities.
Clinton’s tactic is to adopt a drawl and visit soul food kitchens and African-American hair salons to get votes. President Obama’s is to flat out beg. He stopped by the Tom Joyner Morning Show on Wednesday and did just that:
“I’m going to be honest with you right now. The Latino vote is up. The overall vote is up. But the African-American vote, right now, is not as solid as it needs to be.“I need everyone to understand that everything we’ve done is dependent on me being able to pass the baton to somebody who believes in the same things I do.
“If you really care about my presidency and what we’ve accomplished, then you are going to go and vote [and then tell your friends and relatives that the Obamas] personally asked you to vote.”
“It’s not that hard, and I know it’s not that hard because we’ve done it before,” the president added.
Expected turnout for black voters is down from 2012 in both North Carolina and Florida, according to The Hill, and early voting is down among blacks in Ohio.
Obama then went to North Carolina where Trump currently leads and made the plea to voters there:
“Now keep in mind this was somebody who spent 70 years on this earth showing no respect for working people. Working people weren't invited to his hotels or his golf courses unless they were the maid or mowing the fairway.“This is somebody who vilifies minorities, vilifies immigrants, vilifies people of Muslim faith, makes fun of Americans with disabilities. How is that person going to be your voice?"If you think voting for gridlock is a good slogan, then you should vote for the Republicans. But if you believe like I believe that American can do better, that we should be out there not trying to block each other from doing stuff, but creating jobs for families, lifting wages, child care, if you care about equal pay for women and raising the minimum wage, then, I need you to vote for Democrats up and down the ticket. I need you to vote for Hillary Clinton."
Perhaps he should say, “Pretty please with sugar on top?”

The Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore we do not endorse political candidates either in primary or general elections. However, as defenders of America’s social contract, we insist that the rules laid down by both parties at the outset of campaigns be respected, and that the results be decided by free elections. We will oppose any attempt to rig the system and deny voters of either party their constitutional right to elect candidates of their choice.
