MSNBC’s O’Donnell: KKK Represents Views of Millions of Trump Voters

How’s that for “evidence-based” reporting?

Devoid of any evidence, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell suggested on his program, The Last Word, that millions of Donald Trump supporters probably agree with the Ku Klux Klan.
Recently, the KKK endorsed Trump in its paper The Crusader and his campaign denounced the endorsement, saying the white supremacist organization is “repulsive” and declaring that “their views do not represent the tens of millions of American who are uniting behind our campaign.”
But that leaves a few million who just might support the KKK, as O’Donnell opined:
“And I’m sure that’s true, that they don’t represent the view of tens of millions of Donald Trump’s voters, but they may very well represent the view of millions of Donald Trump’s voters.”
And The Washington Post’s Eugene Robinson agreed:
“Right! I think we know by now where white supremacists are going in this election … They’re going for Donald Trump.”
O’Donnell had another complaint that led him to be suspicious of Trump harboring racist feelings:
“They did let the story sit there for a day. It took them a full 24 hours to get out their condemnation of the endorsement of the KKK.”
More "evidence-based" reporting from that bastion of fair and balanced journalism, MSNBC.
The Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore we do not endorse political candidates either in primary or general elections. However, as defenders of America’s social contract, we insist that the rules laid down by both parties at the outset of campaigns be respected, and that the results be decided by free elections. We will oppose any attempt to rig the system and deny voters of either party their constitutional right to elect candidates of their choice.
