Charles Krauthammer has a suggestion for what Trump should do with the UN building
Conservative Fox News pundit Charles Krauthammer offered a suggestion to President-elect Donald Trump Monday about how he should approach the United Nations once he is sworn in as commander in chief.
Krauthammer said on Fox News’ “Special Report” that, although the United Nations was “born in hope” following the end of the Second World War, “it turned out to be a disaster.”
Krauthammer addressed United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which demands that Israel cease construction in land claimed by the Palestinians, arguing that the U.N. spends “more than half its time and energy and resources and bureaucracy trying to attack the only Jewish state on the planet, a tiny little spec, while genocide, mayhem, murder and terrorism is going on all over the world.”
“It’s an obsession that, to an outside observer, appears to be insane,” he added. “Why are we doing this?”
Krauthammer went on to say that the United Nations spends the other half of its time “undermining the United States and democracy and our allies around the world.”
“It is an organization that exacerbates tensions, it does not assuage them,” Krauthammer continued.
“Any move to minimize our support for it, any move to get it out of the U.S. — imagine if headquarters were in Zimbabwe, the amount of weight and coverage it would get would be zero,” he said. “I think it’s good real estate in downtown New York City, and Trump ought to find a way to put his name on it and turn it into condos.”

Many folks have been screaming ”get us out of the U.N.!” for years and I for one have certianly supported the idea. In principle a good idea, in practice, a joke we spend millions on every year and what do we get for our investment? Nothing. Krauthammer is right on the money here! The U.S. could better use the money and the real estate and end international sanctioned corruption, greed and despotism.

Mr. Krauthammer sums up the idiocy of the Obummer administration’s foreign policy failure concerning the Middle East. The UN is an obligatory tool that the US uses when they want to invade a sovereign nation to make war on them. The Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval so to speak. There are 31 member countries which do not recognize Israel and are all Muslim. These are the 31 countries the US needs on their side when they vote and decide to invade another Muslim country. These are also 31 of the votes that were against Israel and I’m sure always vote against Israel. The fact that one nation can veto all other votes is absurd. The fact that 31 member nations do not recognize Israel is absurd. The UN should be abolished because it’s nothing more than a tool for the US to wage war and that it betrays the principles it’s founded on by allowing members in it that do not recognize all other member countries.
