Republican Jewish Coalition: Obama Has Damaged America-Israel Relations More Than Any President in History

The Republican Jewish Coalition issued a harshly worded statement Wednesday noting, “On Friday, Obama sold out Israel at the U.N. and did more damage to the U.S.-Israel relationship than any American President in our history.”
They vowed “unprecedented efforts to undo this damage.” In a statement from the organization's President Matt Brooks, received via email, the RJC noted,
In the coming weeks and months we will be working with President-elect Trump to repair our relationship with Israel, and make it stronger than ever. At the same time, we will work to show the U.N. what we think of their resolution. No organization that calls the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem or the Western Wall “occupied territories” deserves the support of the American taxpayers.
The organization vowed an aggressive plan, which includes “work with pro-Israel Republicans in the House and Senate on writing legislation that will defund the U.N. The United States covers 22% of the U.N.'s budget.” They will lobby extensively and pressure donors.
Leaders of the RJC include Billionaire Sheldon Adelson, Mel Sembler, the ambassador to Italy under President George W. Bush; Ron Weiser, Bush’s first-term ambassador to Slovakia, and Public Relations mogul Ronn Torossian.
