While American Muslims 'Brace for Backlash,' Here Are the Real Victims of Islamic Terrorism
Don't let the media and Islam apologists spin this to deflect attention from where good and evil lie.

On October 31, 29-year-old "diversity visa" lottery winner Sayfullo Saipov accelerated a rented Home Depot truck down a Manhattan bike path, killing eight people and injuring 12 others. He was overheard shouting "Allahu akbar" and was so proud of having slaughtered infidels and so inspired by ISIS that, since his shooting and apprehension by the police, he has had the unmitigated gall to request an ISIS flag for his hospital room. Unlike, say, the recent Las Vegas shooter, there absolutely can be no doubt as to this subhuman's motive.
But the leftist news media and Islam apologists, as they do time and time again, have twisted this act of violent jihad entirely into the kneejerk narrative about the mythical, coming, anti-Muslim backlash which never, ever happens. In the perverse Progressive hierarchy of victimology, Muslim-Americans who have been proven over and over again to be in no danger in America (except from other Muslims like Saipov) are treated like the victims of terrorism while the corpses and wounded littering the Manhattan bike path are shrugged off as the dispensable sacrifices we choose to make to promote "diversity."
Here, from Fox News, are the people that the Progressive media, pro-Islamic politicians, and academic apologists for Islam care nothing about: the real, innocent victims of a Muslim terrorist - the ultimate bigot. These eight had their lives stolen from them, and the lives of their surviving friends and relatives shattered. The media aren't lining up to honor them or put their faces before you; they're too busy circling the wagons around the Muslim-American community to brace for the Islamophobic tidal wave that - this time - must surely be coming.
This group of Argentinian friends had come to the U.S. to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 1987 graduation from the Polytechnic School of Rosario. Mendoza, Angelini, Pagnucco, Erlij and Ferruchi were killed by Islamic terrorist Sayfullo Saipov.
Ariel Erlij, third from left, 48, was an Argentinian businessman who reportedly paid for at least some of his friends to go on the trip. He loved soccer and volleyball, and leaves behind three children.
Hernán Mendoza, third from right, was a founding partner at an architecture firm in Rosario.
Hernán Ferruchi, far left, was an architect in Rosario, Argentina, and worked on a project involving high-end properties near the Paraná River.
Diego Angelini, second from right, was an architect with a studio in Rosario. He too leaves behind three children.
Alejandro Damián Pagnucco, 49, second from left, known as "Picho" by his friends was an architect and worked as an accountant at a material sales company. He leaves behind three daughters, but hey, you can't spare them your concern because there's an anti-Muslim backlash swelling across bigoted America.
Ann-Laure Decadt was from Staden in Belgium. The young mother was visiting New York with her mother and sisters. Her husband said she was a “fantastic wife” and “the most beautiful mom.” She has a 3-year-old son and a 3-month-old son. “This loss is unbearable and cannot be overcome,” Decadt’s husband said.
Darren Drake, from New Jersey, was cycling between meetings to lose weight, according to his mother. Drake was a Rutgers University alumnus from New Milford, N.J., working toward a masters degree at Stevens Institute of Technology. Drake was an only child who lived at home and had dinners with his family regularly. "I hope he didn't feel any pain," his father said.
Nicholas Cleves, 23, lived in Greenwich Village in Manhattan. He is beine remembered as "absolutely lovely" and a "sweetheart" by a local deli worker who knew him. Cleves had just received a degree in computer science and physics from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs
These are the real victims. Don't let CNN, or reprehensible activist Linda Sarsour, or pathetic collaborator Mayor De Blasio (who addressed a rally in New York by declaring, "Today, I am a Muslim too") push them into the background in order to deflect attention from where good and evil lie.
