Georgia: “Islamophobia” charged in police killing of Muslim migrant who refused to drop knife even after being tased
“Shukri Ali Said, 36, was killed by police, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, when she refused to relinquish a knife she was allegedly brandishing, even after being Tased….Byers said Said had a knife when officers encountered her. Byers said an altercation occurred at that point, which resulted in officers firing at the woman, wounding her. During that altercation, several attempts were used to de-escalate the encounter, including a Taser and a foam exact impact round, in order to get Said to drop the knife, to no avail.”
This incident is being energetically trumpeted today by the “Islamophobia” industry, including Hamas-linked CAIR’s Zahra Billoo, once again demonstrating that actual “anti-Muslim hate crimes” are so rare that they have to be fabricated outright or fashioned out of incidents such as this one. Anyone of any race or religion who brandishes a knife, refuses to drop it when ordered to do so by police, gets in an “altercation” with police, and still refuses to drop the knife even after being tased, is risking being shot by police. Shukri Ali Said may have wanted to commit “suicide by cop,” or she may simply have been “demented,” and her death is tragic, but the way she was treated was no different from the way anyone who did such things would have been treated. Do the “Islamophobia” victimhood propagandists now expect us to believe that if a white Christian male brandished a knife, refused to drop it, got into an altercation with police, and still didn’t drop the knife even after being tased, that he would be given a hearty handshake and sent on his way?
“Islamophobia” incidents after often manufactured out of whole cloth, and this one is no different.
