On Thursday morning, the hashtag “#TrumpFail” was trending on Twitter in response to President Trump’s summit in Vietnam with Chairman Kim Jong Un.
The President decided to walk away, which is one of his many negotiating techniques outlined in his book “The Art of the Deal,” because he wasn’t satisfied with what North Korea was offering.
In response to no deal being made, liberals all over Twitter began celebrating at the fact that Trump was unable to make a deal with North Korea and started the hashtag “#TrumpFail” which immediately started trending.
One of President Trump’s most vocal critics on Twitter Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) who is known for opposing almost everything Trump says or proposes, actually came to the President’s defense.

The hashtag #TrumpFail is trending and I find it inappropriate. People should not be hoping the President fails or taking pleasure in his failure on the global stage. Whether you like @realDonaldTrump or not, he represents America in foreign affairs. We want America to succeed.

For once, Ted Lieu is spot on.
When President Trump “fails,” the whole country fails. It is absolutely pathetic how the Left is happy that President Trump was unable to make a peace deal.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is becoming so out of control that the Left is ecstatic at the fact that North Korea still has nuclear weapons because it makes President Trump look bad.
They literally rather see Trump fail than see the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
President Trump knows what he wants and he will not make a deal unless it is exactly what he wants.
The president said in a press conference that the two leaders failed to reach a deal due to Kim’s demand for the U.S. to lift all sanctions on North Korea in exchange for denuclearization.“We couldn’t do that,” Trump said. “They were willing to denuke a large portion of the areas we wanted, but we couldn’t give up all of the sanctions for that.”“Sometimes you have to walk,” Trump added. “This was one of those times.”
The media spent hours and hours trashing the President because for some reason, they thought that President Trump was going to sign a deal that did NOT guarantee denuclearization.
Well what do you think happened when President Trump didn’t sign that deal?
They trashed him anyways! No matter what the President does, the Left will always find a way to attack him.
We can’t expect Democrats to agree with President Trump on everything, but as Americans, we should all agree on issues that relate to the well-being and safety of not only America, but also the world.
Democrats are making it clear, that Trump’s “failures” are more important than America’s successes.
Let’s also recognize the fact that President Trump has made more ground on the issue of North Korea than the past three presidents combined!
Just months ago, Democrats were attacking Trump for his “harsh rhetoric” with North Korea and now they are attacking him for having peace talks!
More Democrats in Congress need to speak up like Ted Lieu because when they don’t, they allow the far Left mob to divide our country even more.
