To Look Upon the Face of God

To look upon the Face of God

a dream most Christians would agree

a lifelong wish of all wishes

could you imagine a vision this will be

An all encompassing energy of purest Love

no whiter White there could be

Entwined with the colors of the rainbow

so warm, inviting, and full of the hope of what we all could be.

The only way to see Him

is to see Him in the Son's Face

for our eyes could never bear His Glory

we as man could never see His Face

The awe and presence of His Majesty

that will bring us to our knees

where we will praise and Glorify Him

in songs of gratitude for us to please

To look upon the Face of God

a miracle to behold

for a man to see, is impossible

our minds could not phantom, the purist of God's Soul

One day when the time of man has ended

the time of tears are gone

the tree of Life is in blossom

man and Angles sing God's song

To look upon the face of God

The greatest time in all history

The face of God revealed to man

A time of grace, this will be.
