MARJORIE BATTLES THE BISHOPS
Pederasts pick the wrong fight.

Pat Hershwitzky • 22 minutes ago I feel like I am in a sandbox with feuding children: Voris, Greene, and Donohue. To Michael Voris—in a previous comment, the headline MTG for Pope was appalling. To Marjorie Greene, the Catholic Church is the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ, not the institution. To deprive yourself and children of life giving and sustaining Sacramental Grace is perilous to their well being, temporally and spiritually. There are many outstanding clergy, laity and organizations to triumphantly overcome the ill effects of the Judas’s. Parenthetically, I speak as one whose children were, at best, deprived of wholesome liturgy and faithful priests-Bishops. Yet, that is a complex “story.” Still m, the Holy Spirit works in those who trust in Him and Truth. To Donohue: I once was an unreserved ally and admired what you were accomplishing. In recent decades, I have witnessed a spiritual hubris, as you failed to stand firmly opposed to Archbishop Dolan’s almost nonchalant, rationalized appearance at NY’s Gay Parade, and then joking “dismissal” of those appalled and feeling betrayed, as loved ones were further pushed into that lethal lifestyle. To me: Pray and fast more than write and speak.

JUST like people do not believe in killing, EXCEPT in defense of ones family, over 10 MILLION people believe that they have no other choice but to "resist" by just leaving and trusting that God will still protect them.
My question is WHAT is the tipping point that would bring them back? My worry, the persecution of ALL clergy, the good with the bad.

Fr. Timothy Sauppé • 2 hours ago • edited Pope St. John Paul II, in his encyclical on Reconciliation, wrote about the difference between Institutional Sin and personal sin. At that time, the Left (Liberation Theology) wanted to pin the blame of “sin” unto the Institution of the Church. He points out that Institutions, qua institutions, cannot sin but individuals do; instead he says we should talk about “Structures of Sin.” As such, the Catholic Church, being the Body of Christ, cannot sin but we can talk about Structures of Sin being built up within her e.g. homosexualists (which includes active/passive homosexuals clergy and straight clergy who side with them.). I would argue that there is overwhelming evidence that this Pope has been building up Structures of Sin as witnessed by what he has done to the Pope John Paul II Instituteand his refusal to answer the Dubia (or even meet with his Cardinals).
He wants a huge paradigm shift away from objective morality to a subjective interpretation of sin claiming “new” science validates these activities. My own new bishop has no problem with giving Holy Communion to Pro-abortion politicians (and by connection to other such groups i.e. homosexual couples a la Cardinal Cupich). He claims he doesn’t want to “weaponize the Eucharist.” Hmmmm, I wonder if he would give Holy Communion to a Slave Owner, Pornography Publisher, Child Sex trader, etc.? So sad.
The only thing I wish Michael Voris would have done is offer some parity with what the Bishops have done (at least officially) to clean up seminaries e.g. Pope Benedict’s mandate on double checking active homosexuals from becoming priests. He also should have cited the John Jay Report that the issue is not pedophilia but homosexual abuse of 12 year olds and up. I think it was something like, 80% of victims were male and 80% of them were 12 and up.

I do not hear as much as I would like regarding evangelization, but with all of the perversion and fraud within our Church, why would converting or coming back to the Church appeal to anyone?
The Church knows that she is joined in many ways to the baptized who are honored by the name of Christian, but do not profess the Catholic faith in its entirety or have not preserved unity or communion under the successor of Peter. Those who believe in Christ and are properly baptized are put in a certain, although imperfect, communion with the Catholic Church (Catechism of the Catholic Church 838). Mike Elizabeth Billingsley • 2 hours ago I was raised in an evangelical Bible Church in a small town, and converted to the Catholic Church about 6 years ago, along with my wife and 3 kids. It was a difficult decision, not only because my entire extended family was Protestant, but Pope Francis had taken the reins and was apparently making very strange remarks about atheists and climate change. I had known a few Catholics from various jobs, and they did not appear to be living holy lives.
The decision was made despite what people were doing (family, Pope, other Catholics), and was instead based on truth. My studies clearly showed the Protestant Reformation was based on philosophical and ethical errors, opportunism, and greed. However, its spirit of dissatisfaction with the pope at the time and his management of the church was understandable. It just went too far and became rebellious.
We are living in similar times. The management as you call them are not living holy lives, and are not doing their jobs. But that doesn't change the proposition that the Catholic Church is the one truth church. It has survived bad management in the past, and our allegiance is not to men. I hope you and your sister in law will continue on your journey by seeking the truth. God bless!
Fred Johnson Mike • 7 minutes ago Love the line "it has survived bad management in the past". What's that Hillaire Belloc quote about proof that the Church is Divine? Something like: all you have to do is look at the knaves running it. In the World it wouldn't survive a fortnight!

If a criminal enters your home ...you NEVER give him the key and set up a tent in the back yard. God bless you🙏🙏🙏Mike Elizabeth Billingsley • 2 hours ago I was raised in an evangelical Bible Church in a small town, and converted to the Catholic Church about 6 years ago, along with my wife and 3 kids.
Elizabeth Billingsley Mike • 2 hours ago That is a fair and well said answer. Thank you l. Protestantism has its issues too. I haven't left my church Iove b/c of those issues. I have more to think on.
