In her lawsuit, Kay claims that the Irish Rover published false statements – an allegation that the newspaper said was “entirely false.”  READ

STATE BREAKS FROM AMERICAN LIBRARY ASSOC The Montana State Library Commission voted to formally disassociate from the ALA, saying their “oath of office and resulting duty to the Constitution forbids association with an organization led by a Marxist.” Emily Drabinski, a self-described lesbian Marxist, was elected to serve as president of the ALA last year.  READ

ABORTION AND NEBRASKA  The mother of a 17-year-old Nebraska girl has pleaded guilty to facilitating an unlawful abortion for her daughter who was 29 weeks pregnant. Michigan is slated to be the fifth state to vote in the GOP presidential primaries.  READ

BATTLE OVER MILITARY ABORTION BUDGET Congress is set to vote on the next National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which some observers say is a front to advance taxpayer-funded abortions for service members and their families. Critics claim that the Biden Administration is attempting “to allow the Department of Defense to provide for leave and subsidized travel to another state or to a facility to receive an abortion.”  READ

IOWA DEBATES ‘PROTECTION AT CONCEPTION’  The Iowa legislature is expected to pass a bill this week that will protect unborn children after the 6th week of pregnancy. Our students are so much more than that. They are talented artists, athletes, scholars, musicians, builders, writers, inventors, performers, and innovators. And we need to celebrate the totality of their existence.”   WATCH

BARRON: SUMMIT CAN’T CHANGE DOCTRINE Bishop Robert Barron urged Catholics to remember that the Synod is an advisory council, “not a democratic process” to change Church teaching. “I'll take the pope at his word. I don't think we're discussing doctrine,” he said.  READ
