Christian actor Kirk Cameron began pushing back against this indoctrination by authoring his own children’s books.
The former Growing Pains star is battling against woke public libraries to give readings of his new kid’s book.
Public libraries that welcome drag queens canceled story hours held by the conservative Christian actor. Cameron accused the American Library Association (ALA) of “religious discrimination” for trying to thwart his book readings for kids.
He said that the ALA was involved in an “evil plot” to disintegrate the country’s “social fabric” during a Fox Business interview.
“Your kids are being force-fed this trans agenda and so much corruption and immorality in their schools and in their libraries,” Cameron said. “Why don’t you let parents bring their kids up for air and talk to them about faith, hope, and love, and read them some books at the library?”
The First Liberty Institute, a Christian conservative legal group, is helping Cameron fight back against the ALA’s attempt to discriminate against him and his religious beliefs.
The ALA has advised libraries on ways to “block” Cameron from appearing during his upcoming reading event. “It’s religious discrimination, and they’re putting local libraries in legal jeopardy by encouraging them to do this,” Cameron said.
Cameron and First Liberty “launched an investigation with the federal government to hold the American Library Association accountable for their religious discrimination, willful violation of the Constitution and the ALA’s own internal rules to allegedly protect all people’s access to public libraries.”
The actor recently published two kid’s books with faith-based, family-oriented messages that he said are a “great threat” to the woke mob.
“There’s a great threat to Marxists,” Cameron explained. “It’s a great threat to communists. It is the hope of lasting liberty in our republic and in any republic.”
Cameron said that the ALA’s attempts to block him are an example of the public’s loss of faith in institutions across the country. “We’re seeing behind the curtain that there’s deception and corruption going on, and it knows no bounds,” Cameron said. “We see it in church. We see it within people’s own marriages. We see it obviously in politics. We can see it in the financial sector.”
“And it seems as though there is this evil plot to somehow deconstruct and disorganize our social fabric, our economic fabric, for the purpose of reorganizing it toward a different goal,” Cameron added.
The simple act of reading a wholesome kid’s book is becoming an act of political battle as the woke mob dominates more institutions.
