Abbigail Wheeler, 16, and a fellow teammate hung signs reading “Women’s rights,” “Biological Women Only,” and “Safe Sport” in the womens’ locker room. | ID’S MUST MATCH SEX A Kansas district judge has ruled that the state can no longer issue driver's licenses indicating “gender identity” rather than natural sex. | LEFTISTS TURN ON BIDEN? Left-of-center media engines Axios and the Atlantic published analyses strongly criticizing President Joe Biden’s age and disposition this week. Some writers suggested that he should drop out of the 2024 presidential campaign altogether. In an op-ed published Friday, political scientist and Atlantic contributor Eliot A. | MARINES WITHOUT A TOP LEADER Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville’s months-long hold on all senior Pentagon nominees is making it difficult to appoint a new Marine Corps leader, leaving the Marines without a leader for the first time in 164 years. As reported by CatholicVote, Tuberville has used his position on the Senate Armed Services Committee to block about 250 appointments since March, in response to a Defense Department policy that funds active service members’ abortions, including travel expenses to obtain an abortion – in an apparent violation of federal law. BEING USED TO SPY Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being used as spyware that violates freedom and human rights in the name of combating terrorism, according to a United Nations human rights expert. “Sophisticated surveillance technology developed for counter-terrorism and national security purposes has increasingly become a focus of international concern thanks to a spate of revelations demonstrating that such tools are in fact being used to spy on politicians, journalists, human rights activists, lawyers and ordinary citizens with no links to terrorism and who pose no national security threat,” said Fionnuala Ní Aoláin, in a report she presented to the U.N.
