How The Biden FBI Smeared Catholics As Terrorists

An explosive new report from congressional investigators reveals how the Biden administration used the FBI to portray Catholics as violent terrorists, going so far as to plant spies in churches to report on pro-life speech. The U.S. House Judiciary Committee announced the release of an interim staff report titled, “Report: How the Biden-Wray FBI Manufactured a False Narrative of Catholic Americans as Violent Extremists.”

“The report reveals that contrary to testimony from former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray, the 2023 Richmond memorandum that derisively labeled traditional Catholics as ‘racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists’ was not an isolated incident,” the Committee revealed in a statement.

“Under the new leadership of Director Kash Patel, the FBI has cooperated considerably with the Committee’s subpoena, and has produced over 1,300 pages of additional documents related to the Richmond memorandum that the Biden-Wray FBI did not disclose,” the Committee added.

The efforts to spy on and smear Catholics was tied to political effort to discredit the pro-life movement, even though it took place while a left-wing terrorist network calling itself “Jane’s Revenge” was carrying out a nationwide campaign of vandalism and arson terrorist attacks on pregnancy centers and Catholic churches.

The Committee revealed newly-obtained documents “show that the Biden-Wray FBI put more federal law-enforcement resources into surveilling Catholics than previously known. The Richmond Field Office’s targeting of Catholics extended to surveilling a priest by coordinating with other field offices nationally and internationally, including FBI Headquarters and the FBI’s London Office. In addition, several internal FBI documents used derogatory terms like ‘radical traditionalist catholic’ or ‘Radical-Traditionalist Catholic’ between 2009 and 2023.”

“An FBI internal database contained at least 13 documents, including the Richmond memorandum, that used these terms—all of which cited the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC),” the Committee notes.

The Committee reports these new documents show:

* The FBI’s Richmond Field Office interviewed a priest affiliated with a local Catholic church to discuss a subject under investigation whose case served as the basis for the Richmond memorandum;-

* After the priest declined to share information about the subject, the FBI surveilled the priest and opened an investigative assessment into him;

* The Richmond memorandum relied on radical open-source material, including but not limited to information from the SPLC, as support for the FBI’s focus on “radical traditionalist Catholics” and “racially motivated violent extremists;”

* The FBI’s Richmond Field Office coordinated with the Louisville Field Office and the FBI’s London Office to gather evidence about the priest;

* The FBI attempted to violate the priest-penitent privilege on the faulty reasoning that the Richmond subject under investigation seeking spiritual guidance had not been baptized or completed catechism.-

“These new findings make it apparent that the FBI under President Biden and Director Wray withheld key information responsive to the Committee’s subpoena since the beginning of the 118th Congress. The Committee remains committed to conducting oversight of the Biden-Harris Administration’s abuse of federal law-enforcement resources against Catholic Americans. With Director Patel’s commitment to transparency, the Committee will continue its oversight to inform legislative reforms to protect American’s religious liberties from government overreach,” the Committee concluded.

Justice Department Ordered To Pay After Lawsuit Reveals Biden Transcripts Were Doctored

The Justice Department has been ordered to pay attorneys fees to a legal watchdog whose lawsuit revealed a released transcript of a special prosecutor’s interview with then-President Joe Biden had been altered to cover up Biden’s declining cognitive state.

The non-profit public interest law firm Judicial Watch announced in a statement “that it and the U.S. Department of Justice reached a settlement in which the government agreed to pay $10,000 for attorneys’ fees and other costs associated with Judicial Watch’s successful lawsuit that forced release of the audio tapes of President Biden’s interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur.”

“Judicial Watch’s heavy lifting ended the cover-up of the Biden-Hur tapes. Our lawsuit caused the release of the tapes and multiple new official investigations of exactly who was running the Biden White House,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, “The modest settlement of $10,000 is a fraction of the value to the public interest from Judicial Watch’s lawsuit.”

Judicial Watch notes its initial July 2024 lawsuit for the audio recordings “forced the release of the tapes in May, which has resulted in criminal and congressional investigations into the Biden White House”

The release show the transcripts had altered to differ from the actual recording, in a way that seemed to minimize the extent of Biden’s declining cognitive state.

“In February 2025, a federal court ordered the Trump Justice Department to declare whether it intended to continue denying Judicial Watch’s request for audio of former President Joe Biden’s interviews with Special Counsel Robert Hur, which led to today’s release,” Judicial Watch notes.

“In April 2025, Judicial Watch uncovered Justice Department records showing White House staffers suggesting edits to transcripts of President Biden’s interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur regarding his handling of secret documents. The Justice Department also recently turned over to Judicial Watch 49 pages of records detailing pressure asserted by the Biden White House and Joe Biden’s personal lawyers on Special Counsel Robert Hur regarding the interviews of then-President Biden. Non-disclosure agreements signed by the president’s lawyers were also included in the records,” the firm concluded.

5 Popular Phrases That Are Killing Christian Marriages These common sayings can quietly tear marriages apart. By Matthew Thompson

Words can carry tremendous weight, even when people think they're meaningless or harmless. Over time, some popular phrases can become what kills a marriage. It doesn't happen overnight. Instead, words chip away at the relationship's foundation.

How can you avoid damaging communication and replace it with biblical marriage tips? That journey starts with recognizing harmful phrases in marriage. Then, you can remove them from your conversations and focus on building a relationship with Christ's love at its center.

1. "I deserve better."

While there are times when someone might need to leave a marriage for safety reasons, the phrase "I deserve better" often gets used to dismiss partners instead of acknowledging that people change over time.

If you've said, "I deserve better," think carefully about what you mean by that. Are you keeping score and feeling that you contribute more than your partner? If that's the case, take a step back and remember that marriage is about selfless love.

Even if you're putting in more effort right now, your relationship's dynamics likely shift frequently. If you were struggling, how would you feel if your partner used that against you?

This is a good time to remember 1 Corinthians 13:4-5: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

2. "That's just the way I am."

Saying "that's just the way I am" makes it sound like you're an unchanging person. That isn't true, so it's an unfair thing to tell your spouse. The reality is that people grow and change all the time.

But what if you truly believe that you can't change some of your habits or traits?

Turn to the Bible to test that idea. You'll find ample quotes about how devotion to God leads to transformation.

2 Corinthians 3:18 says: We all who contemplate the Lord's glory are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Galatians 2:20 states: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

As a Christian, you must accept the power and necessity of change.

3. "You always..." or "You never..."

This is one of the most harmful phrases in marriage because it escalates conflict and discourages reconciliation.

Plus, it's rarely true. Does your spouse always bring up a topic that upsets you? Does your partner never follow through on plans? More likely than not, those statements distort a much more complex reality.

What's a better alternative?

Use "I feel" statements to express hurt without assigning blame. While it's not true that your spouse never follows through with plans, it might be true that you feel like they never follow through. There's a big difference between those statements. Try to speak more honestly and respectfully to create productive conversations.

4. "I shouldn't have to tell you."

Your spouse cannot read your mind. If you say, "I shouldn't have to tell you," you're asking them to know something without talking to you. You're asking them to do something impossible. That can only set you both up for failure.

Maybe something feels so obvious to you that it doesn't seem worth discussing. Despite that feeling, it's unfair and unuseful to think that someone knows what's inside your mind.

Communication is the foundation of every marriage. If you don't work on communicating, you will grow apart and disappoint each other. The harder a conversation seems, the more you need to have it. As long as you focus on forgiveness and patience, tough conversations can make marriages even stronger.

5. "If this doesn't work, we can just separate."

Christians enter marriage after considerable thought and prayer. You cannot take the commitment lightly.

Perhaps this seems like a casual remark. Plenty of people say it offhandedly as if it doesn't really matter. The truth is that it plants seeds of doubt and instability. You might "jokingly" mention a separation, but it's nothing to laugh at. Saying those words opens a door that's difficult to close. It could be what kills a marriage.

As a Christian, you make a lifelong commitment to your spouse. It isn't based on conditional love. Just like God forgives people for falling short, you must also forgive your spouse when they fall short.

Remember what Mark 10:9 says: What God has joined together, let no one separate.

That verse gets said at countless weddings. Make sure you mean it when you commit to your spouse. There are no "outs" when it comes to a lifelong commitment.

Words have the power to build up or tear down. Choose your words carefully so you can build a fruitful marriage. If you've said any of the above phrases, look for honest, encouraging replacements.

A Christ-centered marriage won't happen by accident. It requires work, humility, intention, and love. If you ever feel lost, turn to God's word to find biblical marriage tips.

You can also pray for guidance, especially during your relationship's difficult periods. The next time you feel like saying something hurtful, take a moment to pray together. Here's a good place to start:

Lord, help us speak words that build, not break. Give us wisdom and grace in how we communicate, and may our marriage reflect Your love. Amen.
