It’s obvious that the Bible is a CONTROVERSIAL book. Over it, wars have been fought, multitudes have died and families have been divided.
Because of the conviction and passions on both sides of the theological spectrum, this article (and video), undoubtedly, will be seen as content that seeks to promote a certain position. It does not. But many will see it that way anyway. And, because of the SHOCKING nature of many passages in the Bible itself this is, unfortunately, unavoidable. Unavoidable, I say, because the Bible’s content IS intense. Unfortunate, because people, as they watch the video, build a defense within themselves based on past experiences and certain indoctrinations which keeps them from confronting and dealing with the facts. What you do with those facts is completely up to you. But, like any message, once it is delivered to the ear or showcased past the eye, it cannot be unseen or unheard.
Know up front: This video is NEITHER pro-atheist NOR anti-Christian. It is simply a video restatement of the powerful words that have been in the bible for thousands of years. This author didn’t write the bible and has taken great care not to inject personal interpretation into the biblical text. He believes the Bible simply says what it says and means what it says and to add to it, as the bible itself says, is to be viewed by Scriptures as a “liar” (Prov. 30:6) “Do not add to this Word, lest He rebuke you and you be found a liar.”
