Though Moses was not allowed to enter the Land of Israel, he was given an
opportunity to see the Land from atop the mountain of Abarim. Earlier in verse
12, God tells him to go
up to the mountain and see the Land, and in verse 13 He repeats
"you shall see it." The repetition of the instruction to see the Land teaches
that not only did Moses see the Land's physical beauty, he was able to perceive
its spiritual grandeur as well. Experience the physical and spiritual beauty of
