JESUS & JUDAS
"And one of you is a devil."
April 20, 2022 14 CommentsToday's Vortex is a talk Michael Voris gave at this year's Retreat on Land, 2022.
yvobalcer • 10 minutes ago I love that line about Judas being the patron saint of social justice.
Diane • an hour ago Deceitful people are always good actors. I was deceived by someone who I thought was the most wonderful person I ever knew. It is heartbreaking when it is finally revealed.
john654 • an hour ago We are being betrayed right now. Keep your eyes on the Crucifix and the Eucharist!
JohnJoseph • an hour ago • edited I think I heard Michael say Judas means "peace". I believe the Greek translation means "praise". Judas is the Greek form for Judah in Hebrew which means praise.
Michelle Campbell • 9 hours ago • edited Oh yes, Dark on Dark.
He could have been St Judas.
He could have been forgiven by Our Lord after throwing those 30 pieces of silver back in the Temple in front of the Sanhedrin...but, greed and guilt got the better of him.
I thought the late Father John Hardon's answer as to why there was a Judas was
astonishing. He remarked to let people know of 'apostate bishops'.
Well, given today's state of the Catholic Church is there any doubt about most of those in the USCCB.
We've exhausted on this chatboard the myriad offenses these American 'Men in Miters' are guilty of.
The 2001 BOSTON GLOBE began exposing all the rot that Catholic newspapers refused to cover. Talk about incest.
Dark on Dark continues to this day.
So many good clergy betrayed by corrupt prelates for being 'too rigid'....
Well l hope so!
'Straight is the way and narrow is the gate, and few there be that find it'.
Many Churchmen must have forgotten Our Lord's words.
In the 1990's there was a popular saying that got put on purses, tee shirts and hoodies, 'WWJD', 'What Would Jesus Do'?
For many in leadership, BOTH secular and church, a fitting tee should read,
'WWJD', 'What Would Judas Do'?
An exercise in thought...and reflection.

It’s only those who ask for Gods mercy on their knees get in through that small door in heaven….(note: even though we are called to forgive someone 70x’s 70 it doesn’t mean we should forget because it is prudent to remember to protect ourselves from such
individuals! This is what my prayer group was taught from Fr. Anielo. He always stated it was prudent to stay away from bad/evil people
CG1066 Michelle Campbell • 9 hours ago I think Fr. Hardon was correct, but if that was to really reflect the future that would mean only one in twelve are Judas’? So the others are just bad vs. the One Twelfth that are actually evil? Hmmmmm
CG1066 • 9 hours ago • edited I’m going to ramble a bit tonight, sneezing, etc….. I’ll never forget MV remarks about Psalm 41 and how Our Lord was lamenting that sin 1000 years before it happened because He’s infinite…..I heard that there is a verse in the Bible that once you ask for forgiveness Our Lord forgets your sin, thank Goodness. I liked how he explained how the Pharisees knew intellectually that he rose people from the dead 4 times but why they still tried to kill him…..like the difference between the bad vs evil people who try to destroy everyone around them - I know people like that but still converted later! I never heard anyone before give such a great analysis of scripture before, not only in comparative analysis but spiritual analysis, made one feel that you were actually present!!! I know already, since these disqus invariably go back to discussions about how evil the political parties are due to Seth, I dare Seth not to speak about that just this once!
JohnJoseph CG1066 • 2 hours ago • edited My two cents... There are two opposing accounts of how Judas died. One account says he hanged himself, and another says he bought a field with the 30 pieces of silver and fell off a cliff and burst his guts out. I think it's a stretch to think Judas was redeemed. There are too many eye witnesses who give a different opinion of his character. I guess we won't know until we reach eternity.
Michelle Campbell CG1066 • 9 hours ago Can you help me CG.
I remember the daughter of Jairus, the widow of Nain's son and Lazarus,
but who is the fourth person Jesus raised? Thanks! 💐💒💐🐑💐
CG1066 Michelle Campbell • 9 hours ago • edited Remember the Roman Centurian who wanted our Lord to just say the word so his son or servant would be healed and not follow him back since he knew he would be dead by then if not already dead? At least that’s the one that comes to my mind and heard that interpretation from someone.
Michelle Campbell CG1066 • 8 hours ago Okay...and another possibility...the 4th person being Jesus Himself?
Looked up this question on the great GOOGLE and some articles mention Jesus raised 3 people. Thanks. 🙏💒🙏
