Dear Carl,
Though Ukrainian troops have driven back the Russian invaders from around Kyiv, the civilian population is suffering greatly. Bombs continue to fall on houses, schools, shopping centers, and even hospitals. The toll these constant attacks are taking on the Ukrainian people is staggering. Food is very, very hard to find now, and there are many people who will go to bed hungry at night. God is calling us to do all we can to change that and I'm asking for your help today.
For just $40 we can provide a package of essential food that will feed one person for an entire week. For just $120 we can provide food for a week to three people. Your support right now will do so much to help these struggling people. God has given us a wonderful way to help, and we are going to take full advantage of it. We are working now to fill two more trucks with food, medical supplies, and other emergency relief. It will take $200,000 to purchase these supplies and get them across the border into Ukraine, and we are asking for your help today.
The Jewish people of Ukraine—there are about 500,000 of them—are facing hunger, fear, and the threat of war. Together we can show them hope and remind them they are not forgotten. But we can't do it without your help. I am asking you to rush your most generous gift so that we can help with this urgent project and continue to provide help and hope to the hurting Jewish people of Ukraine.
