In the Old Testament God established cities of refuge for the people to have as a place of safety and protection. Today inspired by that example, we are setting up six city of refuge storehouses in strategic locations in and near the war zones in Ukraine. We've built a network of churches and synagogues that will allow help to continue to spread all across Ukraine.

Dear Carl,

All across Ukraine today Believers are going to church, braving the danger of the ongoing war to meet together. Many of them are going to churches that are already filled up before they get there—because many churches have opened their doors to take in refugees and give them a place to stay. It's a wonderful demonstration of love, but it's also a measure of the desperate situation facing these precious people, and I'm asking you to join hands with us to help them right now.

Today inspired by that example, we are setting up six city of refuge storehouses in strategic locations in and near the war zones in Ukraine. We've built a network of churches and synagogues that will allow help to continue to spread all across Ukraine. But we can't get the supplies and food they so desperately need to them without your help.

The Jewish people of Ukraine—there are about 500,000 of them—are facing hunger, fear and threat of war. Together we can show them hope, and remind them they are not forgotten. But we can't do it without your help. I am asking you to rush your most generous gift so that we can help with this urgent project and continue to provide help and hope to the hurting Jewish people of Ukraine.

Your support of the Jerusalem Prayer Team today allows us to purchase food, medicine, clothing, and other necessities of life for the poor Holocaust survivors of Ukraine, as well as to continue to operate the Friends of Zion Museum, to stand up and speak out for Israel, and to meet urgent humanitarian needs among the poor Jewish people living in Israel. Thank you so much for being part of this vital worldwide prayer movement.

Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Michael David Evans
