Late last year, The Satanic Temple applied to start an After-School Satan Club at B.M. Williams Primary School. The board ultimately approved the satanic club. However, local Catholics were not about to give up. On July 10, they reunited at the Chesapeake Public School Board meeting, demanding the school board members confirm a re-vote. Please read:

Public and school libraries struggle to become more “woke.” It is not just a matter of buying more bad books. The biggest issue is that the materials the librarians badly want to place on their shelves provoke uncomfortable reactions in many parents. After spending a busy week in Grand Rapids, Michigan, my friend John Horvat thought of rivers. The mid-size city put him in a place where he felt the noisy traffic, brutal architecture and constant movement found in most American metropolises. It was like the rapids. Afterward, he was invited to go to the small village of Mecosta, about an hour north of the city. He spent two days away from everything. It was like a river pool where he could recollect and ponder.
