Mass Deportations Will Begin In THIS Democrat Area
Homan, who was nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to serve as border czar, previously served as acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Since this nomination, Homan has become one of the most popular Trump picks, with Trump supporters celebrating his strong stances on illegal immigration and border security.
He recently stated that the first priority for deportations would be “public safety threats, national security threats, and fugitives.”
During a Monday gathering at the Northwest Side GOP holiday party, Homan declared that “Chicago is in trouble because your mayor sucks and your governor sucks” — referring to Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D), both of whom were in attendance at the event.
The incoming border czar went on to highlight how “terrible” both of these politicians are, while also encouraging them to follow the lead of New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D), who has declared his intention to support Trump’s deportations of convicted criminal illegal aliens. Homan argued that, like Adams, Johnson and Pritzker should be willing to “come to the table” to discuss how these deportations will happen. He also emphasized that Johnson — a major supporter of open borders and opponent of deportation — should not “impede” the deportation process.
“If he doesn’t want to help, get the hell out of the way,” Homan added. “If he knowingly harbors or conceals an illegal alien — I will prosecute him.”
Homan, who has vowed to “flood” sanctuary cities with ICE agents, then explained that it is necessary to determine whether people claiming to be “asylum seekers” are actually seeking asylum, while noting that he does not plan to separate families, but “it may happen” anyway. He then threatened to arrest anyone caught protecting illegal aliens.
“My goal is to enforce the law, but if you put yourself in that position, it may happen,” Homan added. “But there’s no plan in this administration right now to separate families. However, we’re going to enforce the law. So if you put yourself in that position it’s on you,” he said, explaining that Dreamer children — the offspring of illegal immigrant relationships — will have a choice to make.
“You can either take a child home with you or they just stay here,” Homan continued. “But you don’t get a pass.”
He also pointed out that anyone who made an illegitimate claim for asylum will be deported, adding: “If we don’t, what the hell are we doing? Shut down immigration court?”
“We know exactly who we’re going to arrest,” he continued. “We know most likely where we’re going to find them. We know a lot about them because of investigative case files. So it’s not a sweep, it’s not an uncontrolled operation. It’s a very targeted operation.”
