On behalf of the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), we extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones for a blessed Ramadan Kareem.
As antisemitism continues to rise globally, we must confront the painful reality that much of this hatred stems from radical Islamist extremism, which fuels violence and seeks to divide our communities. The horrors of October 7 and the brutality inflicted on the Bibas family, including the murder of innocent children, serve as a tragic reminder that antisemitism is not a relic of history—it is a present and growing danger.
The world cannot turn a blind eye. The same hatred that massacred 6 million Jews 80 years ago now wears a different mask, but its goal remains the same—to destroy the Jewish people. We cannot accept this as our reality. We cannot allow this cycle to continue. While Jews yearn for peace, we are too often forced to pay for that dream with our lives.
This Ramadan should serve as a moment of reflection, a reminder that we have a responsibility to stand against radicalism, violence, and the ideologies that fuel hatred. The Jewish people seek peace, but peace cannot be one-sided. It cannot come at the cost of Jewish lives. If there is to be a future of coexistence, it must begin with those who choose to reject extremism, rather than perpetuate it.
We deeply appreciate your commitment to interfaith solidarity and your unwavering stance against antisemitism. May this Ramadan bring you peace, prosperity, and the strength to build a world free from hatred.
