Today's Israel Inspiration

In our verse, the Psalmist describes a beautiful vision of the Almighty overseeing Israel's "departure" from exile, and assuring the nation's "arrival" into the Holy Land. In just a few weeks, the nation will host the arrival of thousands of visitors for the annual Jerusalem Marathon! Over 25,000 runners pass by fascinating historical sites that illuminate 3,000 years of the history of Jerusalem. Israel365 staff are joining the race and running for charity. We are collecting donations to bring a special Purim party to sick children in Jerusalem who are forced to spend the holiday in the hospital.

Textiles Dating Back to
King David's Era Found in Timna Dig

The ancient copper mines in Timna, deep in Israel’s Arava Valley, are believed to be the site of King Solomon’s mines. The arid conditions of the mines have seen the remarkable preservation of 3,000-year-old organic materials, including seeds, leather and fabric, providing a unique window into the culture of this period.

Israel Photo Trivia

Boruch Len caught up with this fun Israeli street art. Can you guess in which city this is located? (Hint: it is Israel's fourth largest city, and its name in Hebrew means "First to Zion!"). Send me an email or post your answer on Facebook!
