Democrats just learned this piece of devastating news about the Midterm elections

Democrats are facing a difficult political environment.

But now Democrats can’t count on one of their aces in the hole.

That’s because Democrats just learned this piece of devastating news about the Midterm elections.

One of the controversies in the 2020 election surrounded “zucker bucks,” which were the hundreds of millions of dollars Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg pumped into local election offices around the country.

The Federalist reported that in the key state of Wisconsin, Democrat Mayors essentially used the money for Democrat Party get out the vote drives.

The Federalist reports:

Mayors of Green Bay, Kenosha, Madison, Milwaukee, and Racine detailed their approach to the 2020 election in the Wisconsin Safe Voting Plan, which they submitted to CTCL on June 15, 2020. They explained that part of their strategy for conducting “safe, fair, inclusive, secure, and professional” elections was to target “voters of color” with information campaigns.

The mayors planned to spend $1.07 million to “dramatically expand strategic voter education and outreach efforts, particularly to historically disenfranchised residents.” “We understand that our communities of color do not necessarily trust the voting process,” the document said. “We need to work to earn that trust.”

Joe Biden carried Wisconsin by about 20,000 votes, and conservatives blamed that margin in part by Zuckerberg helping to rig the election in the President’s favor by privately funding left-wing turnout operations.

In 2022, Democrats won’t be able to count on a similar boost this year, as Zuckerberg will not hand out money for that purpose.

“The nonprofit that distributed most of the $350 million in donations from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to election offices in 2020 said Monday that it won’t disburse similar donations this year after backlash from conservatives suspicious that the contributions tilted the outcome of the presidential race toward Joe Biden,” the Associated Press reported.

“Instead, the Center for Technology and Civic Life is launching a different program. Dubbed the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence, the $80-million, five-year effort is intended to create a network for the nation’s thousands of local election officials, who can apply for aid to improve their technology and processes,” the Associated Press continued.

“‘Unfortunately, years of underinvestment means many local election departments often have limited capacity and training. The U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence is bringing together world-class partners so that local election officials no longer have to go it alone,’ said Tiana Epps-Johnson, CTCL’s executive director, who announced the new program at the TED2022 conference,” the Associated Press concluded.

Democrats won in 2020 by gaming the mail-in-vote.

States like Pennsylvania illegally changed mail-in-voting rules to open the flood gates.

And the reporting from The Federalist suggests that Democrats leveraged the money from Facebook to fund a parallel get out the vote operation.

Without that ability to dump hundreds of thousands of mail-in-ballots into the system in 2022, Democrats could be looking at huge trouble in November.
