But Hillary Clinton is sounding the alarm about a threat she believes Biden is ignoring by focusing solely on Donald Trump.
“In a new national NBC News poll, Biden is tied with former President Donald Trump, the front-runner for the GOP nomination, at 46% in a head-to-head matchup,” NBC reported. “But when third-party options are included, Trump leads Biden 39% to 36%.”
The poll found a third-party candidate would deal a severe blow to Biden’s reelection chances and only help Donald Trump.
Hillary Clinton recently met with Joe Biden in secret at the White House to urge him not to ignore the dangers of a third-party candidate.“Clinton pressed Biden to take the third-party threat seriously and come up with a way to compensate for it, one of the sources said,” NBC reported.
The threat of a third-party candidate is real for Biden.
“Whether it’s the academic Cornel West, a yet-to-be-named standard-bearer for the group “No Labels” or nominees of the more established Green and Libertarian parties, the third-party hopefuls have become the chief internal worry in Biden world, according to more than a half-dozen people who are in regular contact with the White House,” NBC reported.
No Labels is planning to put at least $70 million behind its eventual candidate.
Democrat Senator Joe Manchin is considering a run for President as the No Labels candidate, which would be a disaster for Joe Biden.No Labels also recently registered 15,000 voters in Arizona under their label.
Joe Biden is facing several problems ahead of his reelection.
The border is a disaster, crime is surging, inflation is up, and Americans are struggling across the country.
Joe Biden is also in the spotlight over allegations of a pay-to-play scheme with his son Hunter during his time as Vice President.
Combined with his age and mental abilities, Joe Biden is in for one tough reelection race.
