Merrick Garland’s latest legal move really has Americans up in arms

More and more Americans believe the country is controlled to an inordinate degree by authoritarian bureaucrats and the interests of Big Tech companies and their owners much like the railroad, oil, and steel tycoons of the 19th century.
These individuals, in fact, wield immense power over the daily lives of average Americans, as well as the American federal government.
But Merrick Garland’s latest legal move really has Americans up in arms.
Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice just embarrassed themselves for the world to see
In today’s America, anti-trust lawsuits are far and few between, but when they do happen, it often makes headlines.
The Department of Justice’s antitrust suit against tech giant Google is one of the most significant anti-trust lawsuits in decades, as it questions the power and authority of Big Tech. According to the Department of Justice, Google has developed a monopoly over internet searching over the years after it was unveiled that Google relies on multi-billion dollar payments from Verizon and Apple for their services.
But so far, the Department of Justice has made some key blunders in their lawsuit against Google. Most notably, the DOJ released a document which is central to a trial exhibit on a publically accessible web page.
Not even the judge presiding over the case, Amit Mehta, was aware of this, telling the court “That’s something I wish I’d been told. I think a judge is told before evidence in the record is actually put on a publicly available website.” Google was outraged over this key detail, demanding that it be removed immediately.
Google attorney John Schmidtlein told the court that “Just so we understand what’s at stake here, every document they push into evidence they post on their website, and it gets picked up far and wide.”
He added, “This isn’t a business record, and it’s totally irrelevant to these proceedings.”
As a result of Google complaints, the DOJ removed this document without hesitation, which is not common for the Department of Justice.
Although major revelations have been made in this case, many legal experts fear that the Department of Justice is fumbling this landmark case.
The Department of Justice is in a state of disarray under Merrick Garland’s watch
Whether it is the many indictments against former President Trump or the messy case against Google, many Americans have lost faith in the Department of Justice.
The Department of Justice and its many agents have been caught time and time again engaging in politically-motivated activities, designed to strengthen Joe Biden and his leftist political agenda.
Whether it is colluding with Big Tech companies to censor Americans online or seeking laughably minor charges against Hunter Biden after a long list of serious alleged crimes, the DOJ is facing a public image crisis.
