And Jesse Watters put Joe Biden on notice for one sneaky move to save Hunter from humiliation. Democrats tried to make hay out of former President Donald Trump being forced to take a mugshot in the case brought against him by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
The move backfired spectacularly on Democrats when Trump used the mugshot to his advantage with the best fundraising haul of his latest Presidential campaign.
President Joe Biden however is desperate to avoid having any embarrassing information leak from his son Hunter’s criminal case.
Fox News host Jesse Watters revealed that a mugshot exists of Hunter Biden that was taken in July when he was booked at a Delaware courthouse for his sweetheart plea agreement that was later rejected by a judge.
Abbe Lowell, an attorney for the President’s son, said that during a July court appearance, he was booked by the U.S. Marshals Service with “the usual procedures (e.g., submitted to multiple sets of fingerprints, had his photograph taken, and filled out the required forms for release).”
Hunter’s mugshot is being kept hidden because of a Department of Justice policy according to U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware spokeswoman Kim Reeves.
Justice Department policy “prohibits my office from providing photographs of defendants prosecuted in federal court,” Reeves told Newsweek.
Watters announced on his Fox News show that he filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for Hunter’s mugshot with the Justice Department and Marshals Service. “It turns out Hunter Biden has a mugshot,” Watters said. “So what is so special about a mugshot that they don’t want us to see? Did he smile? Did he look defiant? In light of transparency, this mugshot must be released.”
The Fox News host wondered why Hunter’s mugshot was being kept from the public.
“Sources tell us that federal inmates rarely have their mugshots released to the public — only in cases where the federal inmate escapes, and a leak would be very unlikely,” Watters explained. “The U.S. Marshals have a rigorous digital footprint.”
The Justice Department is happy to leak details about the federal criminal cases brought against Trump by Special Counsel Jack Smith.
Watters urged a member of the Marshals Service to step up and leak the photo.
“Sources tell us that it will be extremely hard to obtain the mugshot because if a U.S. Marshall merely searches the database for Hunter Biden, it’ll be flagged, and that U.S. Marshal will be fired,” Watters said. “So we are calling on all federal Marshals close to retirement to do what they think is right.”
Hunter Biden’s mugshot being kept hidden is another example of the two-tier justice system that his father created.
