Tom Hanks just insulted Trump supporters in this despicable way

Tom Hanks wants Americans to think he’s a nice, polite, everyman actor.
But Hanks is every bit the stone-cold Hollywood leftist that the vast majority of his peers are.
And Tom Hanks just insulted Trump supporters in this despicable way.
Tom Hanks smears Trump supporters as racist
Saturday Night Live recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with a primetime broadcast.
The show was an A-list affair with Sir Paul McCartney, Steven Spielberg, Jerry Seinfeld, Ryan Reynolds, and Blake Lively among the celebrities joining former cast members in the studio audience.
Steve Martin performed the opening monologue.
Adam Sandler brought down the house with a song about 50 years of the show’s history.
The show also featured classic sketches during the three-hour broadcast.
It was a massive hit attracting 15 million viewers.
But the show also went viral for a disgraceful attack on Donald Trump’s voters.
One of the skits presented was “Black Jeopardy.”
After the sketch, Tom Hanks walked on, reprising his role as “Doug,” a MAGA hat-wearing Trump supporter he first played in a version of the skit that aired following the 2016 election.
In that version of the skit, Hanks showed that Trump supporters and black Americans had more in common than they thought as Doug expressed his skepticism of the FBI and other government agencies.
This presentation was far uglier.
When Doug appeared on Black Jeopardy, he began by saying, “If more folks went to church we wouldn’t be in this mess now.”
The host – Darnell Hayes played by show regular Kenan Thompson – announced his appreciation for Doug’s comments about church attendance and declared he would like to shake Doug’s hand.
As Thompson’s Hayes stuck out his hand, Hank’s Doug character recoiled in horror.
“Don’t like that, whoa, whoa, whoa,” Doug says as he defensively puts his hands up.
The two eventually shook hands.
“Maybe I’ll start a show for you to come on and we’ll call it ‘White Jeopardy,’” Doug said after the sketch.
Conservatives couldn’t believe that Hanks would go on television in front of a mass audience and smear Trump supporters as racists who think all black people are coming to rob them.
“This show wonders why their ratings are in the gutter,” former Robert F. Kennedy Jr. aide Link Lauren wrote on social media.
“Trump won the popular vote. This tired trope that MAGA is racist is disgusting. SNL is an unfunny show for snobbish liberal elites,” Lauren added.
Podcaster Benny Johnson was also less than impressed.
“SNL decided it was a good idea to depict Tom Hanks as a ‘Racist Trump Supporter’ in a MAGA Hat afraid to shake a black man’s hand,” Johnson posted on X.
Johnson couldn’t believe Saturday Night Live would be so tone-deaf.
“Donald Trump just won a landslide election and has never been more popular with Americans,” Johnson concluded.
The failure to read the room was a popular sentiment.
“SNL had Tom Hanks play a racist Trump supporter who wouldn’t shake a Black man’s hand. This propaganda is dumb and isn’t funny. When will they learn??” LibsofTikTok posted to social media.
