Trump Just Sent Them to GTMO
He decided that it would be the ideal place to hold the worst of the worst of the illegal immigrants before they get deported.
Well, let’s just say that Democrats are having a bit of a fit over this one.
It Makes Sense
Rather than building another facility, using GTMO makes sense.
They can hold about 30,000 prisoners, so why not put it to use? I really like the idea because believe me, word will travel, and if these criminal illegals trying to sneak over our border find out they will have GTMO vacation, it might make them think twice about entering the country illegally.
The first flight from El Paso, TX, has already dropped a batch off, and Democrats were losing their minds.
For instance, Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX) stated, “As a reminder, the situation on the border does not merit the use of military resources-El Paso currently has capacity, apprehensions are down, and the use of Guantanamo Bay is predicted to cost hundreds of millions of dollars.
“These measures are nothing more than unnecessary and cruel political theater and a gross misuse of federal funds and military personnel.”
There are now about 150 troops working there to supplement the DHS and DoD staff on hand, and I think it is the perfect setting to keep these criminals in check.
Democrats and liberals may not be too happy about this, but I love it.
It’s about time we start cracking down on these criminals.
I have always stated, the best deterrent to illegals is to ship them all back and ban them from ever being able to enter the country again. You violate our immigration laws, you lose the right for a path to citizenship as well as the right to ever step foot on our soil again.
