WHY DOES OBAMA IGNORE THE MASSIVE CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION IN IRAQ?

When U.S. troops invaded Iraq in 2003, there were at least 1.5 million Christians in Iraq. Over the last ten years, significantly in the last few months with the emergence of ISIS, that figure has dropped to about 400,000.
In a region where Christians predate Muslims by centuries, over one million Christians have been killed or have had to flee because of jihadi persecution, while America is basically standing by and watching. This is the sad news that Breitbart’s National Security Editor and one of the world’s leading experts on asymmetric warfare, Dr. Sebastian Gorka, brought to Breitbart News Saturday, hosted by Editor in Chief Alex Marlow on Sirius XM Patriot Radio.

“To the mainstream media,” Gorka charged, “the dark skin person always has to be the victim. Either the Hamas terrorist in Gaza, the Nicaraguan gang bangers coming across the border likened to juvenile political refugees… the idea that the white skin Christian or the Israelis as victims, that goes against every narrative this media wishes to pedal.
Dr. Gorka explained that “in the last 48 hours, ISIS, which is now called the Islamic State in Mosul, has painted the letter “N” for Nazarene on the houses of all the surviving Christians in the city. ISIS has basically given an ultimatum to all the Christians left: You can either flee or convert to Islam, or we will kill you.”
Marlow observed that the blatant religious cleansing is horrifying and asked Gorka: “Why is it that the mainstream press is not interested in the story?” Gorka first responded by saying “Let’s face it, this is a Christian version of the Holocaust and nothing less.”
The Middle East expert went on to explain that the mainstream media is in full support of the White House narrative “that the President single-handedly killed Osama Bin Laden, and that Al Qaeda is now on the ropes; therefore, jihad must be shriveling up around the world.” This myopic strategy of only targeting Al Qaeda has provided great opportunities for other jihadists and has given rise to ISIS.
“On top of that,” Gorka asserts that, “the mainstream media are warped in terms of their world view.” According to Breitbart’s national security expert, the media is “post-modernist, sophisticated, and secularist. So when it comes to the idea of religious persecution, they say, ‘Well who really cares because I don’t believe in God. If you are not sophisticated enough to be a post-modernist secularist… tough on you!’”

      Hey Gary, The persecution of Christians not just by Muslim but by the west by ignoring it. Why wouldn’t either Great British, Australia, Canada.NZ etc. Stand up and take in these People after all They are all Christian countries, why do we take Muslim immigrants who are persucuted. Is it because there are no Christian Countries on earth? Is it because the rapture is only for American Christians? I ve got a feeling we are looking at our future. I ve got a feeling we are on our own in this one. God Bless the Mosul Christians. No rapture for them.

    I can never understand the sheep mentality of the Christians. If they would arm themselves, they could at least kill one ISIS soldier for every two Christians, there soon wouldn't be any ISIS soldiers. I said the same thing about the Jew's before an during WW-2. If the same thing was going on in my neighborhood, I would make sure that I would take out as many as I could. I am not much of a Christian, but I will be damned if any Muslin is going to force me to get down on my knees and make me pray to Allah, or enslave me.

        We aren’t supposed to be cowards, which is what you’re suggesting. To allow some satan worshippers (muslims), rape, butcher and pillage innocent Christians is not something I would allow without a fight to the death – and thank God, most Christians I know would do likewise. You remind me of the gutless cowardly preachers that are in most of the churches today. They wouldn’t come to the defense of a fellow Christian and stand up against the slaughter that is taking place in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and coming to a town near us all in the US at the hands of islamic jihadists.       Herman: Then let the islammists go ahead and enslave me. We can know what’s going to happen to them. ‘Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord. I WILL repay.’ God WILL keep His word on that.       STL, I know that the Christians being persecuted now will be in the rapture whether living or dead at the rapture, for even the dead will be raptured. If we are living at that time, we will be changed and go up with them and meet Jesus in the air. How many people will die before pre-tribbers wake up to the truth? Must it be their neighbors, before they understand?

When Jesus was resurrected and came to the chamber where the Apostles were residing, Thomas could not believe it was Jesus, and Thomas wanted to see the holes in Jesus hands and feet, before he would believe He was their Messiah. You remind me of Thomas. But Jesus said, there will be those who never seen me and they will know that I AM their Messiah. That is called true Faith in Jesus Christ, which you lack in Him!!!!!!!!!!!

          STL, I wonder, What did God honor the most, thje sons of Jesse that was fighting the philistines, or the liitle sheep boy will to lay his life on the line for his faith in his God. I’m sure the sons of Jesse along with all of Israel said, God will take care of this giant. But it took the faith of one willing to die for their faith to be victorious and touch the heart of God. God has loved David’s trust in Him forever more. Those that rely on God even in faith as these that lay their lives down in Syria and Iraq and Africa, have much more faith than some on who says God will take us out before the gaint comes. Who now has the faith, and who just says they have faith? A trial is coming to see, that will be answered! If you really believe, you will not be tempted, not the least, for you will know what is going on.

    I hav just only now read of the fate of my brethern…Y are we surprised at these atrocities perpetrated against fellow believers, for all over this world n various nations Christian brethern are mocked, beaten, mutilated, burned becos they love Jesus, so very few run to their aid, whether a country or individuals, & in these swiftly changing times & seasons we may all face a similar situations. These blessed ones who preceed us will hav ‘crowns of th martyrs’to cast before th feet of their King & Savior. My heart goes out to those whose family members survive who are deprived of family & friends, such sadness & grief & though it seems like th usa/world doesn’t care, I’m sure their sense of ‘The Comforter/Holy Spirit will exceed all of ours. May WE ALL recieve grace to stand honorably for Jesus Th Christ before th face of our persecutors tht we might b found worthy to stand wth Him & th Brethern on tht great day.     Well after the US military invaded in 2003 they systematically disarmed the Iraqi population including Iraqi Christians and also you should know that under Saddam Iraqi Christians were well armed! So basically the US govt created this horrid situation by attacking and invading regime change in Iraq and disarming the populace!

      I agree with you but we must also mention the weapons ISIS use are ones The US Gov. provided when regime change in countries like Syria and Egypt suited our interest. We fight them in one country and arm the same in another. When will people wake up and see it’s not about Israel to your elected ones… it’s about war profiteering! Stop being played.

    Yep and the US Govt cries bloody murder over 1 airliner that should not have been over a warzone airspace gets shot down. Should be a indicator that the US Govt which I do not claim as my own because they who are in DC in political office right now are alien to and a enemy of our Constitutional Republic and in truth do not actually care about human suffering! If they had actually cared they would not have attacked, invaded and regime changed the Iraqi Govt in 2003 to begin with……period!

    The reason why Christians stand by and do nothing is because of the misinterpretation of scripture where Jesus said the sword was not his way. The problem with that line of thinking is that he meant when spreading the word God which by the way Christians did disobey there and used to sword during the crusades. The fact is that Jesus also said that any man that would defend his family or country was also not worthy of him. But don't tell American Christians that because they are to busy making money for their mega church to bother.

    I'm so tired of hearing how america does nothing. We are always the first ones to give humanitarian aide in disaster to othee countries. We can not save the world when we can't even save ourselves. As ugly as this may seem, I do not see any country or nation coming to the aide of Americans when we suffer from natural disasters, terroist attacks, etc. I'm to the point to where I say forget about the rest of the world and save our people first. All of the billions of dollars that are constantly going to other countries should be going to the homeless starving children of America. There is no reason for families to be facing foreclosures when our country should grow a pair and tell the rest of the world to fend for itself except for Israel. I havee news for you, this is biblical prophesy coming true, the only person that can put an end to such evil is Christ himself. Christ will return to gain what is his and will put an end to this evil religion of islam to deqth once and for all.

    All of the killing in the name of God has created the ground work for the rule of the “God of this world” because billions will want a world where there is no religion and the trail of blood left by all of this fanaticism will all the evidence needed to make it so.     That is not true.
    In terms of natural disasters, Australia is regularly sending its large fight-fighting force to california during their fire season. We've sent over 5000 in one hit, during some of the worst of your disasters. We have many large fires here, so our folks are seasoned and well skilled.
    Not to mention that we alway's support America in any armed conflict it is involved in. We are a small population but have poured billions into helping America out.
    I understand your frustration, but refusing to acknowledge the help of your allies, is pretty rude.
