Where Do I Run?

If my life falls apart and everything seems to be crumbling around me, I need to know who will help me. I need someone who will perform a miracle on my behalf. I need someone who can deliver me from falling into despair. When I need to be sustained in every calamity, I need to know who I can call. Well, the Psalmist told me:
“I call to God Most High,
    to the God who does everything for me” (Psalm 57:2)
Oh my, that is exactly what I need! When I am afraid, I can trust in Him. He will calm my worries and deliver my soul through peace from the battle that am facing.
During my trials and frustrations, I have chosen to call on Elohim! He will save me. He will bottle my tears and mark my every step. When I cry to Him, my enemies will be turned back because He is for me.
I have put my trust in Him. I am not afraid what men can do to me; my heart is fixed. I will sing and give praise to Him; my soul will be satisfied. He will bring me through the fire and flood into a haven where I will be safe and secure.
He will cause His face to shine upon me and He will load me with His benefits every day. He will not hide His face during times when I need Him the most, but instead He will hear me and quickly respond to my cry. He will never leave me lying in confusion and frustration because He has commandment to save me — because He is on my side.
