On Sunday — two days after FBI Director James Comey announced the bureau is re-opening its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails — the FBI secured a warrant to begin reviewing almost 650,000 emails that were on Anthony Weiner’s computer.
The emails discovered on the device belonging to the disgraced former congressman and now accused child sex predator appear to have come from Weiner’s estranged wife, Huma Abedin, one of Hillary’s closest advisors…at least up until now.
However, as noted by Comey on Friday afternoon, the emails found on Weiner’s computer may involve Hillary Clinton and are possibly relevant to the investigation into Clinton’s private server. That was bad enough. Now it seems it will get worse for the former secretary of state.

Fox Business correspondent Charlie Gasparino reported Monday morning that law enforcement officials close to the case tell him that Weiner is on the verge of making a deal with the FBI. Gasparino further notes that Weiner’s attorney states that no agreement is in place… YET.
If Anthony Weiner turns and cooperates with agents by providing critical evidence, this could be a major blow to Clinton and her presidential aspirations.
Faced with the prospect of up to thirty years in prison for sexting with a minor, Weiner is likely weighing an agreement to help avoid incarceration — or at least so much time behind bars. Based on law enforcement officials and his own attorney’s reported representations, the ex-congressman may have something big enough to offer the FBI that would keep him out of the slammer.

That is an enormous development that should be watched closely.
It is unlikely that the FBI would even consider an immunity deal with a child sex offender if that suspect did not have something substantial to offer.
