Maxine Waters: MLK Would’ve Marched to Impeach Trump
"If MLK was alive today..."

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) didn’t let a little thing like Martin Luther King Jr. Day spoil her drive to impeach President Trump. In fact, she appropriated the occasion to link the dreams of the late civil rights leader to her own.
Waters continued her call for impeachment on Monday in a Twitter message that did its worst to marry her ideas with King’s:
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would have encouraged every responsible human being to march for justice, to march for peace, and most of all, to march for the impeachment of Donald Trump. #ThankYouMLK50
Don't miss that: forget fighting for equal rights among the races, MLK would be trying to get Trump out of the White House "most of all."
Waters added on Twitter:
If MLK was alive today, he'd be marching not only for civil rights & protecting voting rights, but to urge Members of Congress to accept their responsibility to save the U.S. from a dangerous man who has no respect for our Constitution & no concern for strengthening our democracy
It's our Constitution that secured the election of Donald Trump, but Waters doesn't like the outcome. Talk about having no respect for the law of the land. And like Waters has the time to strengthen our democracy when she's doing her best to destroy it.
