If you are uncomfortable with the thought of your social media posts being used against you, be prepared to be shocked. According to recordings of Twitter engineers, all the material you post on the social media platform is saved, including your sexting or nude photos, and then used to sell products back to you.
The latest revelations come from the underground work of Project Veritas which last week exposed Twitter using "shadow banning" and other techniques to silence conservative opinion. The group's latest report describes some rather creepy claims and practices at Twitter.
“Everything you send is stored on my server… So all your sex messages and you, like, d*ck pics are on my server now," said Pranay Singh, a Twitter engineer in a recording captured on January 5, 2018. Pranay made even more outrageous claims about how Twitter uses your data.
“All your illegitimate wives and, like, all the girls you’ve been f*cking around with, they’re are on my server now… I’m going to send it to your wife, she’s going use it in your divorce.”
“So, what happens is like, you like, write something or post pictures on line, they never go away… Because even after you send them, people are like analyzing them, to see what you are interested in, to see what you are talking about. And they sell that data.”
According to the report, hundreds of Twitter employees are paid to look at and analyze your supposedly private moments. Also revealed, how even if you have never been on Twitter, they know all about you the very first time you show up. Read more here and watch the full video above.
