It’s been a very rough six months for WND – and for me personally.
I’ve never lived through such a sustained stressful period in my life. It’s been a time of agonizing layoffs of valuable and senior staffers, including some of the most talented people I have ever worked with. It’s been a time of missed paychecks, unpaid bills and lots of tears and prayers.
God had always provided miracles when we needed them over the 20-year history of WND, the very first independent online news source in the world.
But He had never tarried this long before. Some members of the WND team were on the verge of giving up.
And then, earlier this month, He used you to answer those prayers.
You have encouraged all of us to stay in this fight for truth, for a vibrant free press, for fearless reporting into corruption, fraud, waste and abuse.
And now we humbly, hat in hand, come to you again, in the presence of God, asking for your continued support.
You answered out call for $100,000 in two weeks.
So now we are asking for $200,000 to meet by March 1 our expected revenue shortfall in February and March.
Here’s how you can help us reach our goal and save freedom of speech and freedom of the press in America:
- Prayer: This is No. 1. I don’t say it lightly. We believe in the power of prayer and the supernatural might of the God of Israel we serve uniquely among major news services in the world. No, WND is not a church – but it is a unique institution devoted to building God’s Kingdom. If you value it, please affirm it with the Creator of the universe.
- Your monthly contributions as your budget permits. That can come in the form of a monthly payment of as little as $3 and as much as $5000 through our donation portal.
