Defense Department Deploys Task Force Against “Threats” Posed By UFOs
(RoyalPatriot.com )- The Department of Defense officially announce the formation of a brand-new group that will study and counter the threat posed to the United States by unidentified flying objects (UFOs) or unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).
On Tuesday, a memo revealed the department’s plans, explaining how the new Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group (AOIMSG) will “synchronize efforts” from the department and the rest of the government to “detect, identify, and attribute objects” that appear in restricted airspace.
The memo, published by Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, said that one of the main goals of the new group would be “standardizing UAP reporting.”
In other words, this new federal group with a hard-to-remember name will focus on formulating a standard way of reporting and collecting information on any sightings.
Isn’t it wild how 2020 and 2021 have been so crazy with the COVID-19 pandemic and the election that we’ve basically admitted that UFOs exist and nobody bats an eyelid?
The new AOIMSG group will be made up of senior Defense Department officials and members of the intelligence community. It will be managed by an executive council that will include Ronald Moultrie, the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security, as well as Andrew Poppas, the Joint Staff Lieutenant General.
The task force has been widely expected for some time. Just five months ago, the Navy’s UAP Task Force published a nine-page unclassified report which revealed how officials were able to identify at least one UAP with “high confidence” out of 144 reported sightings. The sighting in question was described as a “large, deflating balloon.”
A further 80 sightings were included in the report, which included information about how these sightings were captured using multiple sensors. Some 11 instances of pilots reporting a near-miss with these mysterious objects were also included in the report.
