Now a leading Biden ally in Congress emerged visibly shaken after bombshell testimony.Hunter Biden’s reported attempts at influence-peddling on his father’s name while he was vice president already don’t look good for Vice President Joe Biden.
More evidence is mounting about direct involvement by the Biden patriarch.Joe Biden himself has already explicitly stated that he threatened to withhold aid from Ukraine until prosecutor Viktor Shokin was fired.
Now witnesses have offered up even more evidence that Shokin was investigating Ukrainian energy company Burisma, which was paying Hunter Biden $83,000 per month for a no-show job.The sizable payments in-and-of themselves have added plenty more heat to allegations they were part of a quid pro quo deal, to which two former Hunter Biden business partners have now testified that Joe and Hunter were financially intertwined in.
Previously, Tony Bobulinski testified as such, and now former business partner Devon Archer has spoken to Congress.In a closed-door hearing, Archer confirmed that Joe Biden would frequently hop on the phone during Hunter’s business calls.

Hilariously, the Democrats have attempted to spin this as innocuous chatter and not part of an influence-peddling operation.
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene explained that “the Bidens were in the actual business of influence peddling. It’s extremely damning […] We have Devon Archer coming out and telling the truth that Hunter Biden and Joe Biden spoke over 20 times about his business deals, not about the weather, not about what was for lunch about his business deals.”
The idea that Hunter Biden would put his dad on the phone with foreign oligarchs to discuss the weather is being called absurd with more and more regularity among many Americans.
Those voices suggest it’s even more absurd to say with a straight face that Hunter Biden would put his dad on the phone to chat about the weather in the middle of a foreign business deal. And that it’s now even more apparent that Hunter was putting his father on the phone to highlight that he has access to someone in the White House and that the supposed talk about the weather could easily have been intended to give Joe Biden plausible deniability if an investigation like this were to happen.
As the dog days of August wear on, it’s likely to get even harder for anyone to credibly state a Ukrainian energy company paid Hunter Biden for his legal expertise even though he had zero experience in the energy sector and had no specific knowledge of regulatory policy in the country.
Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky even joked that Hunter was dumber than his dog. Everybody knows that Hunter was trading on his father’s name.
And now Mr. Archer has provided another piece to the puzzle as to how Hunter wasn’t alone in trading on his father’s name.
Democrats are desperately clinging to the weather conversations, but that explanation may not hold.
